Rubicon graphics problem: Multiple monitors of different resolutions = seriously not happy

I'm running two monitors, a 23.x" at 1920x1080, and a 20.x" at 1680x1050.

Prior to this morning, I could run one EVE window as a fixed window on the main monitor (1920x1080), and another window on the smaller monitor, in window mode, at 1680x1028, and everything was perfectly peachy.

Since installing Rubicon, I can no longer run the windows at different resolutions. If I attempt to run the window on the main monitor in a fixed window at 1920x1080, the right side and bottom will be cropped to reduce the visible window to the same size as the smaller window (showing the desktop where the window was cropped); if I run the main monitor in window mode at 1920x1080, it will flicker between the 1920x1080 resolution and the smaller window's 1680x1028.

I sincerely hope this issue can be resolved promptly, as I did not purchase a 23.x", 1080p monitor, so that I could be forced to game at 1680x1028.

Incidentally (not that it should matter, as everything ran perfectly before the patch), my relevant specs are:

AMD FX-8350
MSI Radeon HD7970 Twin Frozr
16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM
256GB Corsair Neutron series SSD

I updated to AMD's latest release drivers, and then to the latest beta driver, and the problem persists.

Do these issues also occur in DX9? You change that setting in the launcher.

I appreciate that, but this information may help us track down this issue, and allows you to continue to play EVE in the meantime.

I also run 2 monitors, but both at 1920x1080. When running with DX11 the Client hangs and then crashes after a few min.

Running under DX9 works just fine. Crash info is showing a problem with _trinity_dx11_deploy.dll.

I know one test I done. If i hit ESC to bring up my options it takes over 8 seconds to open when the graphic card tab is selected.

On any other tab i options if i hit ESC they option just fine.

This is 100% related to graphics, I'm fully up to date

Just switched to DX9, and no, the problem does not occur in DX9. Other issues that I noticed (such as menu taking excessive time to open) have also disappeared with the switch to DX9.

Hi,

the problem I got is similar to the already mentioned. I use two screens of different size and resolution. On the main screen I'm running two EVE acc's (changing by alt+tab) on the small one I got TS3, maps and stuff like that. When I change from one to the other acc the second screen turns black, or just the picture frame of e.g. the TS3 is visible or it looks like a water-mark. After a while windows tells me that there is a problem with the color schema on windows7. If I change to it the small screen works again but is flickering like hell during the change from one to the other acc on the large screen.
Changing to dx9 solved the problem, now all works fine again. Thanks for the help and good luck by fixing it ;)

So, do we have any information regarding this issue? Is this something that's being addressed currently or in the near future, or are we going to be waiting a while?
