Would it be possible to use the ISIS interface to keep track of our stats in a ship?

For example, you go to the drake in ISIS, and in addition to the current info, it could also tell you total kills, total deaths, and have a expandable window that would have all your killmails and lossmails in a drake.

    Nah, Daredevil has been repainted to be Serpentis colored like Vindicator and Vigliant. It should have gotten a green background back then, tbh. I hope they fix the icon this time around.


    shouldn't the pirates get their own colour scheme???
    they should also get more background information on the ships and unique looking ships .. at least modified versions of the ships like moa etc.

    T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

    ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

    This was one of the first things I tried to do, and sadly it failed. Instead I had to go to the market and drag and drop the ships/modules.

    I think, more importantly, you should be able to drag things in from the info window, because thats usually what youre looking at before you compare things.

    I know I am late... but today I finally had a look at the new ISIS.

    3 things:

    A) Bug: several times when I had ISIS open while travelling, the Overview would not load anything. I was left with this empty overview until I jumped through another gate with ISIS closed. (was able to find the gate through right-click in empty space)

    B) for many ships I have only master II, because I don't have certain drone skills, but one ship sprang to my eve with IV. I clicked on it and was VERY surprised that it was a HIC - I only have Heavy Interdictors II !!!
    This is confusing! Shouldn't the hull skills somehow be included in the mastery level of a ship?

    C) Can we please please have bigger tiles for bigger ships? They do not need to be the correct scale, but someone looking at this ship tree should immediately see that e.g. battleships are the big guns and Capitals are REALLY HUGE.
    So I suggest:
    50% bigger tiles for BS
    100% bigger tiles for caps/supers (or maybe landscape format tiles that are 50% higher and 100-200% wider - vice versa for the Nagl ;-) )
    (frigs somehow seem to be smaller on the tile anyway than cruisers)

    edit: upon looking closely, I realized that the tiles ARE indeed of different size! But one can hardly see the difference. Don't be so shy, pump up the battleships & caps plz!

    feature request:

    if you right click on a ship you get a "compare with" context menu entry with the following sub entries:
    - ... other variants
    - ... other ships in group
    - ... other races

    this will open the compare tool with a pre-populated list of the ships you want to compare with.


    edit: drag and drop from tree and show info to compare tool still doesn't work

    how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

    The support role feels far too broad and should be split into logistics fleet boosting and remote assistance (remote tracking enhancer)

    The exploration role should be named reconnaissance to incorporate both pvp and pve and then be added to the cloaky recon's too

    the mastery for freighters doesn't list the skills to actually fly them

    Bugs/Issues

    Gallente, Caldari and Amarr ship popup window show the ship bonuses.
    Minmatar, Ore, Blood Raider, Sansha, Angel, SOE, ships do not.
    Amarr navy cruisers do not show those bonuses either.


    Can you move the ISIS window in the top left more to the left? Or maybe make it more vertical than horizontal? It tends to get in the way sometimes.

    *PLEASE zoom out and center the screen when opening ISIS. It's so annoying having to zoom out then drag the screen to get it centered. Focusing on the rookie ship every time might be (or might not be) great for the new players, but after the first few times, that serves no purpose.


    The ship levels {bug/issue} is still present.

    Gallente Cruiser classes displayed as specialized skill on top, generic skill on bottom:
    Heavy Interdictors -skill level-
    Gallente Cruisers -skill Level-

    Gallente Frigate classes displayed as specialized skill on bottom, generic skill on top (reverse of the above):
    Gallente Frigate -skill level-
    Interceptors -skill level-

    Obviously this is an inconsistency, and this also affects the other ship classes and races.



    But other than that,
    Love the new backgrounds, looks much better. Also like the ship stats in the popup window. Much improved.

    Was looking through ISIS.
    It's not really a bug, just a bad design decision, pre rubicon.
    it's about Freighters / Jump Freighters

    Adv. Spaceship Command it's required for:
    LVL1 - Providence, Charon, Obelisk, Fenir
    LVL4 - Jump Freighters
    LVL5 - Amarr/Caldari/Gall/Minmatar Freighter, Capital Ships, Capital Ind. Ships.

    Why does JF require only lvl4, when the freighter skills require lvl 5.

    I would suggest to change it, this way:
    LVL1 - Providence, Charon, Obelisk, Fenir
    LVL4 - Amarr/Caldari/Gall/Minmatar Freighter,
    LVL5 - Capital Ships, Capital Ind. Ships.Jump Freighters

    This would lower back the requirement of a simple Frighter to LVL 4, and keep the req. for LVL 5 for JF.

    System looks good, much easier to understand then the current certificate system. Should also make it easier than checking the pre-reqs on the ships.


    Also, someone better call Kenny Loggins cause this system just entered the Danger Zone...

    Xposting my feedback from the devblog thread #28:

    Since all the industrial ships have a six sided diaper on their ship icons I suggest you add this to the "Hauling" and "Resource Harvesting" highlight icons.
    Energy Turret, Projectile Turret, and Hybrid Turret icons are hard to distinguish. My suggestions:

    • Make Energy Turret an obvious single straight beam shooting out of something.
    • Make Hybrid Turret have a set of concentric rings around the projectile path to illustrate the chain of electromagnets that accellerate a railgun slug. (edit: i guess this is technically a 'coil gun' but y'know, 150mm compressed coil gun i, close 'nuff)
    • Make Projectile Turret look like a minigun or at least put visible muzzle brake holes. The current iteration of the Hybrid icon looks to me like what I expect a projectile turret to look like.

    Exploration ship type looks quite similar to Tackling ship type. Maybe for Exploration, overlay the ship triangle on top of a cross shaped group of translucent probe bubbles.

    Not sure if this has been already mentioned, but the mouse-over entry for the Cynabal is incorrect. The mouse over says the bonuses are for small turrets while the normal show info says medium turrets as is proper.

    Didn't see this thread before I posted my own, but I just wanted to ask if you guys can expand the boundaries when panning your view on the ISIS grid. Ships near the edge can't be moved to the center of your screen yet, and that would be very benificial when inspecting the tree while you have several windows open. Thanks.

    I wrote a detailed bug report about ISIS but I ll post something here. It seems there are performance issues with the last patch that changed the ISIS to what it looks now. It looked more harsh on performance before the newest patch yet it has been working much more smoothly before. I think I found what the problem is, at least on the lower end machines. I have no major performance issues with station and space environment unless I encounter the known fog effects that really slow fps down.
    I think that the ISIS is working as a screen on top of what is happening already in the background or under it. How I found out about this is the ISIS is working smooth in space. My FPS is 60 anywhere and same when using ISIS in space. But when in station, as the station environment tends to be much more complex which is awesome and wouldnt want any different, the ISIS drops to 30-40 FPS. I think this issue can be solved by making the ISIS similar to what the Star Map is. because the Star Map works as a different environment rather than one environment on top of another one. So when we turn on the star map, the environment we are currently on is changed to the star map environment and focuses only on that.
    While the ISIS screen still runs on top of the environment under it which runs as well.
