Awesome work with the launcher! It worked perfectly! Seriously!

I was a bit worried when the launcher told that the setup failed, because I didn't have enough space. Cleared some folders and restarted the launcher. I was afraid that it would say something about corrupted install or something, but no - it all went fine like nothing happened.

\o/

I disagree!

What did you do to the UI (or is it the DB?) backend? Suddenly, my poor old Air is wizzing by when manipulating both the market and the S&I interface. Shocked

Or did TQ just need a bit of defragging? P

This. I can't believe how much attention this isn't getting.

I've got to commend this as well, getting the entire patch done so quickly was quite impressive.

Suggestion for ISIS:

Show the relevant subsystem skill levels under "Ship group bonus skills"

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

If the icon doesn't match the model, it's probably a caching issue. Just nuke the cache and it should show the right image.

Haven't tried the new ships/structures yet. However, here's a list of minor things I don't like (and gosh I hope you had your bit of irony cereal for breakfast):

- ISIS screen feels weird since all scales are different. Catalyst looks three times beefier than Algos. Side projection combined with small size of ship pictures seems messy.

- Login screen is too bloody bright. I'd prefer neat and modest older version. And where're my news, man?

- Female corpses are ruined. Shoulda called this expansion Noboobicon instead. Apparently feminazi agenda forced CCP to stop sexualizing the dead. Could see this coming though.

- RIP ol' good blue Info icon and warm&fuzzy book icons. All hail 50 shades of grey!

Continue to hate the launcher

Love the client splash screen

Mail Notifications tab blinking, but no new notifications

Edit: After 3 hours of patching 2 clients.

Not sure if this was report elsewhere, but apparently Bastion modules have an insane compression ratio - may want to move some portion of their materials to the "extra" category.

Someone did the math and found you could fit about 1.5 titans worth of minerals into a JF with bastions.

A bit more ISIS feedback:

Could you loosen up the constraints for scrolling around on the page? Right now, it assumes that it will be the only thing showing, and while you can certainly do that by minimising or closing all windows, it's a pretty silly assumption to make in a window-heavy game such as EVE.

It would be a lot better if I could place the edges of current scrolling limits at least at the middle of the screen (where I would assume most people leave an opening between all their windows). Right now, there are many ship boxes that simply can't be centred because the scroll limits don't allow for it. It really should be possible to put any item on that screen at the centre of your display.

e: Fundamentally, it's the same functionality that Morganta is asking for — I'm just noticing that it applies just as well to single-screen setups.

Agreed. Apparently CCP only had people test it that used the right hand of the screen for all other windows. Most of the pilots I know have windows surrounding the entire perimeter - in and out of station.

Edit: With more use - definitely need more extensive scrolling limits from all directions.

Also - Need more zoom levels.

Zooming in and out should put the focal center over the cursor. Scrolling would be unnecessary. Think Supreme Commander.

Hmm… I'm not sure. I prefer to do my scrolling manually rather than have it follow my mouse, if that's what you mean, especially if I'm going to interact with other UI elements at the same time. Maybe if there was a closer zoom level that did that, but in genera, I just see it creating moves I don't want and/or ensuring that the mouse cursor will always cover up what I want to look at.

Slowing down BS warp speeds was just plain ill-conceived.

While some of these ships still see fleet duty, no one ever wants to include them into their roam (or even local ops) due to their slow alignment and speed in warp.

And to nerf them in this fashion off-handedly in order to create teleporting interceptors that allow their pilots to finish that slice of pizza before they go chase that guy down & arrive in plenty of time to light the cyno, get up & afk for another slice.

Is Fozzio just a terrible inty pilot? I mean cmon you already had to slow down the deceleration phase due to how broken it was,.. it's kind of obvious.

I'm cking fleet finder now. It's already intys online baby... What?

EDIT: for positives

~I've come to understand that double bubbling dictors are dead. I'm happy for this actually as it'd come to be an expected build that nerfed the ship except in that regard.

Perhaps it could be possible for the active ship to be shown only in text if the screen is too small to show the full image - seeing as now if you run a small client window the active ship will not be shown if it cannot fit the "big" icon of the ship.

Just a row with active ship and name would be awesome.

EVE ONLINE
SHARKJUMP

Was my guess for the name of this expansion back when guessing it was the fad. Not very far off - in the inpeccable CCP fashion, the theme was communicated through some slick romanification. Crossing the line of no return.

Announcing a new region is the Rubicon, the line of no return, after which for some unknown reasons EVE finally jumped the shark. The decline has begun and it's now officially dead.
