It seems Rubicon did something to my video settings. I usually play with windowed mode so I can switch my account between two monitors but now the game can't re-size them properly. It starts ok, but when I move the Eve client from my main monitor to my secondary monitor, which is smaller, it resizes it properly but if I try to put it back to my main monitor it will not resize into higher resolution like it should. It persist on keeping the same resolution as it had on my smaller monitor. I can switch it back to bigger one by switching into fullscreen and then back, but it's really annoying and it usually starts to blink and doing other weird stuff. It worked just fine before I updated into Rubicon. Any ideas how to fix this? I tried to update graphic card drivers but it didn't help.

Ninja edit: Some hardware and software info: Windows 7 - 64bit, AMD Radeon 6800 HD Series.

Copy and Pasting in Ship names no longer seems to work. E.g. Ctrl V does nothing now.
This is unhelpful as my intaki character can no longer put intaki glyph names on his ships.

Probably set the launcher to run in directx9 mode for now. Sounds like a bit of a bug they could have missed when supporting directs 11

Confirming this, the WH jump sound is very very quiet.

It sounds like the cloak/decloak sound...

Launcher broken. Receive "Error occured" window with "See the logfile (program files\CCP\EVE)\launcher\appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.643940.win32\launcher.exe.log" for details.

Noticed new directory: (program files\CCP\EVE)\launcher\appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.655067.win32\, ran launcher.exe from this directory, works fine and patching game. Appears "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" is still pointing to old launcher.exe version. Using Windows 7 64-bit.

My Launcher broke the same way. Repair did not work. My solution was to reinstall EVE - took couple of hours. I had hoped to make a lot of ISKs on market with new modules :-(

That worked! Thank you very much! Especially when the DX11 doesn't effect anything at the moment. Except messing up my resizing apparently. Lol I hope they fix it before they start using DX11 for something.

I seem to have lost every single personalised setting on my client.
Overview settings,
Chat channels,
Window positions,
Audio/Video settings.

It's like a new install.

WTF guys!!!

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but after every jump, my ship seems to be set a default close-up instead of the previously set zoom distance.

4½ years of EVE Online - like a ton of expansions, and I have yet to see the day where I can login, install the update and just game. Think your record is like 18 hours after release date...

Why does the sensor overlay have to scan every system? If I don't want to pve, shouldn't I be able to turn that feature off entirely?

"succesfully Deploy"??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Read ALL the threads, done the workaround, download two (that be 2 or II) times the ****ing 1,2g pile of crap you call a succesfull expension, and now is stuck at 100% just the ****ing same as on odyssey and odyssey 1.1.

Do i really need to scrap everything and download the whole client anew?

Now don'T ask me for a bug report or error window cause it doesn't give shite. First it was the launcher closing without a shout and after the workaround, it dl 2x, one a 1.22 G file and the second a 1.21G file and stop at 100% applying. after 15 min, I closed the launcher and reopen it for the same result.

PLEASE ADVICE

some people will say I should be polite, be grateful or what not, then you realize it's 45$ of my hard earn cash I give you guys every month so the only thing i have for you now is a F*ck You Very Much.Evil

did the update, had to use a workaround to get it done. that part worked, eventually anyway.

trying to launch the game, it says launching but the game never starts. it goes pack to the 'play' button like it all worked as usual..

is this some DirectX issue? ive got x11 so what else can i do?

how can anyone call this a succesfull deployment?

ive seen other people post the same issues but i havent found an answer anywhere, seems to me this is a major issue.

any help CCP?

Same story... on 3 different computers. 1 is running DX11 the other two DX9. None of the three will actually load the client fully.
I have followed EVERY piece of advice/suggestion on this forum:
Clear Cache
Delete Bulk Data
Run repair tool
Run updater
delete and rename launchers
run via safe mode
delete ENTIRE instillation on two of the computers and installed from scratch.

All three computers will not load the client past the launcher

...much fail, much aggravation

There seems to be an issue with some of the ship pictures when you show info. The picture itself is either not there (black screen) or looks corrupted. When you zoom in and pull up the 3d model, the texture seems to not quite load all the way. See link for a screenshot of what i mean. Also, the pics for the new command ships shows the old hulls, but the 3d model shows the correct hull. Asked around and doesn't seem to be happening to everyone. Anyone else having this issue?

Clearing your cache and updating the drivers for your specific GPU before a relog may correct this issue.

We are looking into solutions for anyone who reports this bug as persistent following those steps.

Thanks.

Cache cleared and drivers are up to date, bug persists. Could it be due to the quality of the GPU. I just have a integrated Intel card for a laptop (Core i3). Don't know if it meets the official min system reqs, but everything else in game runs fine.

Same problem here...cache cleared and drivers up to date, but still no small ship pictures in the info or hangars. All settings are like before the patch and until now I never had any problems with it ::( And I am using directx 9

Just wanna add, that I'm paying 1.5$ per gig I download, and that your client was screwed up 2 days ago, which makes my total cost on installing your software around some 17$.. not a fortune to some, but to me it is, so.. kindly, get us a working update, for the stuff allready downloaded.

Thanks.

It would appear that the POCO tax rates are not being applied properly for WH POCOs. Alliance tax is set at 0.0% but alliance corps other than the owner corp are being charged a tax at the level we have set for Neutrals...

Posting this on behalf of CCP Vertex:

---

Greetings capsuleers,

If you are experiencing any of the issues below, we would like to ask you to follow the instructions listed.

1. Corrupt/Incorrect ship and module icons:
a. Press Esc & go to the Reset Settings tab
b. Press the “Clear all cache files” button

Note: This issue is primarily present on machines with out of date drivers and we urge you to update to the latest version for your appropriate hardware. Links to find the latest drivers are provided below.

AMD drivers: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
INTEL drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx
NVIDIA drivers: http://www.geforce.com/drivers

2. Ship textures appear to be blurred/low resolution:

a. Press Esc & go to the Display & Graphics tab
b. Go to the LOD quality and set it to High

Note: This is part of the new texture LOD feature, if you have the LOD quality set to low/medium, low resolution textures will appear much sooner than if you have the LOD quality set to high. This should resolve the blurry textures issue, but be aware that if you now experience performance issues you will need to set LOD quality back to medium or low to reduce the loaded texture memory.
