Black icons in 'Ships' window

I would just like to point out one small problem with the client running on my laptop with an AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4330 GPU. I did report this via the in game reporting system over a week ago.

When docked in the station I have the ‘Ships’ and ‘Items’ merged with the ‘Station Services’ window. None of the ship’s icons display any of the appropriate ships, just a black square with the ship’s name under it, however they do show correctly in the current TQ client. I’ve also noticed some of the ‘Items’ also show as a black square but you watch carefully the icons do get drawn properly then a black fill is drawn over the top, sort of like the ‘Move To Front’ command is wrong or something.

I too am experiencing this issue on one of my machines:

HP Probook 4430s
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1
Intel Core I3 2310M
4.00GB ram
Intel HD Graphics 3000

Same issue black squares sted of ship icons

Compaq Presario CQ62

Windows 7 home premium

intel celeron 900 @ 2.2GHz

2 GB RAM

Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family

cleared the cash and no new grafix drivers to instal

Yup same problem here.... I just installed Rubicon last night and 1/2 my ship icons were black. So.... I hit esc and selected clear cache files and restarted .... All the icons came up as ! then they individually updated to ALL BLACK .. all of them. :)

Tried restarting the launcher with the Dx9 instead of 11. no difference.

@ work right now dont have computer specs. But ATI Radion HD 6450javascript:if (typeof posting=='undefined'||posting!=true) {posting=true;__doPostBack('forum$ctl00$PostReply','');} me thinks. :)

Additionally I noticed that the items hanger icons about 1/3 of them are black as well.

Also noticed that in space when targeting a ship that ship icon is also black.

Ummm also noticed that this is probably the wrong thread ... this is not the test server but the newly release rubicon.

Also ran repair tool ... no difference.

Same here on ATI 5470. Icons for ship, drone, blueprint are black. Glasses have no texture when reedit your character (are transparent).
Maybe problem is from some transparency if icons use same engine (sky behind ship)
Seems we need wait a new patch for this bug.

I have same issue but in Tranquilty. I had several icons of my ships - black squares. I ran repair tool - no effect. Clearing cashe resulted in... ALL ships icons turning black squares.

How to fix it?

Looks like todays patch address's this ... will have to wait till after work to test.
