if your patcher crashes just run the launcher from the 956.win32 launcher from the /launcher /appdata folder,

notice it hangs up,

restart your main patcher from /CCP (EVE) and see if it works (attempts to download and install updated patcher)

then,

once the launcher is reset from the client side you can then reattempt to download the (server side) update.

I am now downloading the 1.22GB update.
