The launcher is launching no more.

No go. "ImportError: No module named email.utils" still kicks in.

yes that puts it back to the old version but it still downloads the new one and stuffs up again

My thoughts EXACTLY. I had such good luck the last couple of updates, too ... then this .. wow-of-a-mess.

Hopefully things get sorted out and nothing gets damaged or whatever :/

Thank god we have the launcher now, it will make account managment and patching a breeze compared to before.

There are two ways you can fix the issue:


The problem occurred due to an update to a third party library, which pulled in a dependency which had previously been explicitly excluded from the EVE Launcher build. When the version was deployed, it included the updated library, and attempted to pull in the new dependency, which obviously failed.
