Getting Caldari Offensive Systems V, medium hybrid specs then remapping to int/mem.

The only skills I'm kind of borderline on are surgical strike and guided missile prec V. If they were 6 day skills I definitely would get them, but at 13 and 16 respectively I don't think it's worth it.

The only medium weapons I don't have are projectiles and heavies. I've found that projectiles would only be useful for 720mm's and those are only needed for certain fleet PvP, which I can just logi for. Heavy missiles are pretty **** right now and rapid heavies look pretty **** as well. Javelins outperform heavies too consistently for heavies to be worth it.

Are Void bombs common? I haven't done much bombing, not too keen to spend two days to get just void bombs.

If you are going to use missiles a lot then guided missile precision V is worth the time. You will notice a difference when shooting elite NPC frigates with HAMs/HMLs. And in PvP you need all the damage application you can get.

Surgical strike V is a must the if you use large guns a lot. 3% extra DPS on a battleship or attack battle cruiser can be quite a bit. On medium guns its useful and on small guns its hard to notice. However it effects every gun you shoot so I feel that it is well worth the training time.

I wouldn't bother with bomb deployment IV unless you want to fly in bomber fleets somewhat often in null. Not so much for the void bombs, but so you will have a bomb launcher cool down that is in sync with the rest of the fleet. I doubt that many people train this to V unless they are total bomber junkies. Most bomber FC's ask that you train it to IV in my experience.

You should always train skills that are relevant to what you will fly and use on a regular basis to V. (Even if it's only a 2% bonus)

Not if it's a two week + train. I'd be on per/will for the next year if I did that.

Imo, once you get to 40mill SP you REALLY should have the weapon support skills maxed. Trajectory Analyses, Surgical Strike, Guided Missile Precision and Warhead upgrades. There's no reason not to train them. All respective weapons make use of those and like other have said, depending on the ship size they can give considerable boosts in damage application.

Personally, I would train those first, before changing over to another remap.

Another thing to keep in mind is that your current remap is better for training drone skills (Mem/perc) than the Int/mem remap. You might want to finish those too, unless you plan on going to a dedicated drone remap.

Following that I would work on the core skills with Int/mem and then go back to Perc/Wil.

The times when perfect remaps are MOST important, are when you train a lot of level V's.

If it were me, I would stay where you are, and train another few months of ships, guns, missiles, drones. Get some perfect skills done now.
DPS is King!
You can always train some other random skills to III and IV along the way. Just slip a short skill in here and there.

Think of it this way: You know you need those skills at V, do you think waiting a year to train them is *better*?

Edit Here:
You can get 34% more damage from your drones with just skilling. It's a LOT of DPS in drone bonused hulls. And noticeable in non bonused hulls as well.

Some gun specs to IV would effectively *finish* them off.

1 BS V would be prudent.. When you undock a BS, you don't want it to be *average* on any level.

Gunnery supports and missile supports should be maxed. You won't regret it.
Nobody ever said ' I wish I didn't have perfect guns.'
