***** and giggles is good enough reasoning for me. To the other people in here debating logic I ask why does all that matter in eve? Eve is a choose-your-own-adventure story on crack and logic be damned (I realize that doesn't make sense but f#ck it). My adventure just happens to f#cking with other peoples adventures.

Actually it does make sense (at least to me anyway)

I find the squish sound that pods make when they blow up surpisingly relaxing. Also, I'm poor so I steal ore from miners...

I **** up your local to render it useless as a communications method. I go into your public chat and post links to lemon party because I hope one of you clicks it. That, and it utterly derails all your conversation and allows me critical time to put my covert ops ship into position while you no longer look at local anymore because it's been ****ted up and there's stuff happening in your public chat.

And then, that's when the fun begins.

(Nahhh, not really. I fly a rifter and die horribly erryday. I leave griefing to the pros.)

Isn't tears/hour the only valid metric of EVE success? Sure beats ISK/hour. :P

I started off doing a bit of everything from the tutorials, then took up missioning as a career choice. Took me a week or so to grind though Level 1s. It then became apparent I had a lot more grinding to do, which would only lead to more grinding. There was the distant promise of joining a low-sec pirate corp, but I'd have to keep grinding in order to pay for ships to lose.

When I found myself googling "AFK missioning" and "AFK mining", the insanity of the situation struck me. I was looking for a way to play the game by not playing it. And I was paying money for this? MADNESS!

Then I found out about ninja salvaging, made my first 100 million in under a week, got lots of juicy tears and some remarkably polite conversation with mission bears who were just delighted to have me break up the monotony of their existence. I had finally found the "MM" in "MMOG". The first kill followed a week later and it all went downhill from there.

Now I run with a pack of like-minded sociopaths and live off other people's loot, salvage, and the ransoms they pay me.

Now EVE is fun.

It unironically is perfectly logical.

That it is morally bankrupt has nothing to do with it passing logic checks.

I started out doing Merc work, then Merc work got slow so I started decking corps and ransoming them for profit, the tears while small where so sweet that I got adicted.... been trying to get my fix ever since then.

Was a Pirate for awhile, but I don't consider that griefing, thats just claiming turff and then defending it against pirates and carebears alike

i like tears :) quite enjoyable especially the epic rage that comes out after the kill.

This is my gate. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My gate is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my gate is useless. Without my gate, I am useless.

Well, my story started a long long time ago, i was but a little egg in space flying around looking for shiny things to look at and puzzle over.
when a nasty man in a stabber swooped down and pointed me "ransom" he asked "but I'm new and poor"
with what must have been a very evil lol in local he killed me, you always remember your first loss,
i cant remember my first kill tho odd.

after about a year of messing about in high sec and getting kill a few hundred times in FW "yes i did fw it seemed cool ok"
i finely join a corps which i liked jumped to 0.0 and started to really learn what this game is all about "trying to kill dirty smelly RED's (Russians) i wasnt to bad really, hold my own most times noobing it out other times.

well once PL kicked me out of space 3 times following me around like a bad Penie. i joined BRICK SQUAD and met D3 the greatest ganker, Griefer of all time. much man love here for D3 hes the best, this was when i learned of the Gank the Greif and the holy words of D3, the man could troll god.

many a hour as been spent chatting joking and all round good time, Greifing, Ganking what ever your doing as long as its fun what does it matter, find something you like to do find someone you like to do it with and have fun, im not a bad guy but ganking is still the best thing ever.

fly safe all

apart from keef i hate him
