i found a friend from a game which i used to play before("galaxy online 2" he was my opponent back then, and he know exacly how bad i want to be in this game too) whos in my current corp,he told me to join goonswarm alliance, but i guess thats not an option since they tried to scam me when i tried to apply,it was a 500mil insurance crap or something ,i mean how childish is that? it like another one of those 20Euros im willing to burn to have fun,NOT to be laughed at
thanks to forums i didnt fell for it
although i remember doing things similar to that in galaxy online 2
like give me ur x commander with 7stars (wich worth like 100$) and i wont kill you,and when he do gives me the card i attacked his planet anyway,i didnt do that for the 100$ ,i did it to put fear in the heart of others, well fear is the most powerfull weapon in the world as im sure you know,i dont like to play with honor and win,i want to play dirty and dont care about wining
dont get me wrong ,im not the netreyal type,i started with the corp i was in,in that game, and i stayed and lost aloooooot for that corp, any way when we dominated the server, nothing was fun any more,im sure thats not gonna happend in this SLOW peace game any time soon,to behonest i wont see that happends ever
any how, this friend of mine got a friend in a small pvp alliance wich are willing to recruit and train me for pvp and null, guess ill do just that for the time beign before joining a big alliance
but thank you for the tips anyway,

and i wanted to THANK YOU ALL for reading my loooong post,it was an amazing exp,i look forward to have ALOT more of those someday in the near/far future

and remember dont judge how ppl are or want to play in a GAME
its just a game where anyone including me want to fill that void, some ppl want to be heroes and play with honor
some want to be villians and play dirty
so NO JUDGING please

J'Poll wrote:
Bigger =/= always better.

Same counts for alliances. Just because they are big doesnt mean they are the best. Join a corp/allaince because they are a good fit for you, not because they are in the top 10.

oh you i totally agree on that,my corp was rank 32 in the corps ranking in GO2,so i know bigger =/= better
it needs aloooooot of coordinating and communication
read the answer to the quote above and now you know my play style,i know i wont be able to find the corp that will satisfy all my expectations,
so ill just try to fit in

Your never to young to do anything in this game. Will you get stomped a lot at first....yes. But the experience gained (piloting experience not skills points) is the real plus.

Do not go into null with expensive implants. I barely ever go to null with anything in my head. You will eventually get bubbled and if you lose, there goes the pod and implant.

I recommend you start out, as others have said, in FW lowsec. Here are a few good systems to try that have a decent markets.

Huola (either of the stations) Minmatar/Amarr warzone front lines
Vlillirier - Cal/Gal warzone near where i live. Email me if you want to fly some time ill take you out and show you the ropes.
Nennemalia - Cal/gal
Nisuwa - Cal/Gal
Flosewin - Min/Amarr
Kourmonen (next door to Huola) also good market - min/Amarr

Try living in one of these places first and getting the hang of piloting. Nullsec is a different experieince than low sec. I find that your are much more likely to get blobbed and bubbled by bored locals who all want to pile on a rifter kill because they havent seen anyone to kill in days. Also - Null Sec pilots THINK they are superior, but i have found that the majority of them suck solo. They are so used to small gang or large gang fleets that they cant handle true solo competition. Don't listen to their superiority complex. They are rarely better skilled then what i see daily in Lowsec FW space.

The action in FW Lowsec however is constant and strong. Yes there can be blob fleets, but your much more likely to run into solo pilots as well and get good fights.

The fact that you are willing to buy plex and dont care about losing isk is a great plus for you and the fun you can have in this game. I see people all the time not having fun because "awww i spent days earning the isk to buy that ship, dont wanna undock it and lose it". Don't fall into that rut. It is not a fun way to play.

Also - dont worry about your killboard. The FUN is the engagement itself and what you do while engaged. Its like a strategic chess match. How you position yourself, the weapons your sporting, their attributes, your tank, your speed etc...are all factors in the chess match. Alot of times the fight is decided by the opening move. As you get into more engagement you will learn things like how fast your ship will turn, what range you should stay at to do max DPS while limiting your opponents DPS (scram range kiting or regular kiting within 24 km), when to turn back in to secure the kill, when to align out to something and try to bug out when you see reinforcement on D-Scan. This is all learned through piloting and experience yourself. No one can successfully tell you these things.

The way I see it, the people who are "winning" at this game are the ones who are having fun. The guy who walks away from the fight the happiest won.

The guy who was giving you crap about being a noob and all that revealed, by his negative attitude that he has, in fact, actually lost that fight between the two of you - because you had a better time than he did.

Also, FYI, Goonswarm is known for their recruitment scams. Make sure, if you are applying to them, that you apply with one of their official recruitment officers. Those guys are forbidden by their corp from recruitment scamming. But any other rank-and-file member of Goonswarm is welcome to scam under alliance rules.

well ty for the tips mate, but im thinking of a safer way now,to learn the basic pvp,im gonna find missioners with probes, warp to them, act like hey im a newbie whos salvaging your loot, and loot one of his/hey wrecks, once i become yellow to him,i can warp out IF things get ugly for me,but he cant since i will have distruptor ,this way i get to greaf too,and i get to kill battle ships with a thrasher,
thanks to my new teacher, when i get the skills to use that fit he gave me,im gonna start greafing,
one question thu,
do ppl in BS's pay you isk not to kill them while their structure hp is so low that they can die with 1more blow from me????
oh i will kill then anyway, just wondering if i can see them QQ

They might - although because of people like you, many don't.

Also, if you get a reputation of not honoring ransoms, you might have trouble getting into some corps. After all, if you break some of your promises, who can be sure that you wont break other promises as well? Other corps will applaud you for it. But choose carefully, as your reputation is the most valuable thing in EVE.

That's one killboard.

Here's another one:

https://zkillboard.com/

You'll want to bookmark and reference both, since one might miss kills or updates the other one catches.

You're probably gonna be hard pressed to destroy a Battleship solo in your Destroyer. Might be a good idea to jump on smaller class ships while learning your craft right now.

Probably the best skill for solo PvP is more akin to the song 'The Gambler' by Kenny Rodgers :

Quote:
You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em,
Know when to walk away, know when to run.
You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table,
There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done.

Also I remember you from a few nights ago, you warped into my expedition site while I was in my Loki, took some of my loot which was located over 250km away from my ship. You then started towards me in your Slasher and then warped out after a minute or two. I was thinking to myself, wtf is this guy doing?

Later after the Suspect timer went away, you obviously did the same thing to another player in a Machariel located in the same system. Guess he had you in range cuz he promptly linked your kill in local chat. That's why I posted the words from that song. Just something to keep in mind.

By the way, the Slasher fit up wasn't too bad for a new player.

Good luck to you.

Brave newbies bring fights pure and simple - they don't seem to care about odds at all, the only negative thing I can say about them is that they seem to lack organization.

Actually, being in Null as a newbie is fine, but you need support. Kudos for not being afraid and giving it a try.

Also, since you mention you are willing to buy plex. Just don't carry plex around in your cargohold.....EVER! Or you'll be someone Lolkil mail. http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=16767710

Not too disorganized from my experience, but ive only been involved for a week. nice roams, great fights and good FCing. There is something like 5K people in the Alliance with anywhere from 100-300 on and available at any given time. never a dull moment.

Snuffbox Archon

Snuffbox Damnation

and yes i know it was a superblob, didnt take away from the fun at all. Great time.

That's me in my T1 rifter, I scrammed a dramiel which at the time was worth about.... 50 times what my ship was, then a drake proceeded to beat him to death for me.
