Suicide ganking - not enough - solution

I never encountered a non NPC ship in high sec that even locked on to me.
Well, only one ship.
A rookie in a new player system.

He tried to kill my megathron with his Velator.
I activated a smart bomb and gave him 10mil ISK.

Lolwut: "Yes, you kids don't know how lucky you have it. These days noobs get given free tackle ships for PvP but back in the old days the only tackle ships we were given were our pods. We had to use them to bump their rookie ships out of alignment to stop them warping off."

Strangely, this mirrors what I think might happen in the not too distant future: You are either with the Empires (FW or NPC corp) or against (all player run corps not in FW). Remember, as CONCORD Admiral Chinballs (as he is affectionately known by all capsuleers) said: "There will be consequences!".
Until CCP figures out that people actually open their mouth when speaking,
i can't take that guy seriously.

He should have moved his mouth more like Leonidas from 300 and not like a small, shy kid.

I think you should rename your thread to this. ^^

Yes, well.

People tend to mumble when they're issuing orders to a group of people over whom they have no authority.

It's an animation. Your explanation has no ground.

The way he moves his mouth is completely disconnected from the personality he should communicate.
The other two guys were bad too, but this one sticks out most.

Edit: To Clarify.
It does not matter if he has authority or not. He clearly believes he does.
He's a figure of power and his mouth movement should reflect that.

It's called "expressing emotions". I know most people nowadays lack even the smallest ability to read
them consciously, but that doesn't change the facts.

Highsec needs a nerf buffing suicide ganking could be that nerf.

I have argued for wardecs as well. Make them generate killrights on people who leave corp during a war. That'd reintroduce a little risk.

But yeah, chopping 5-10 seconds off CONCORD response time could be fun.

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Best Meltdown Ever.

That's a good idea, I was thinking more that concord would only have so many resources so if they didn't have enough concord guys to respond to something then the criminal gets away with it.

That would also be fun, but far more open to abuse by groups that can muster up hundreds of members at a time... Roll

Oh, you guys.

Anyway, I figure that between wardecs and suicide ganking, they are the intended risk of highsec. Both of them are in a sad state at present, which I contend is the primary problem with highsec being so out of whack. Their isk is too high because their risk is too low.
