Trying to get your viewers to raid another persons channel, for whatever reason, is against the twitch ToS.

Are you really using the excuse that if others do it's ok for you to do as well? No it is not ok, and though you are right that a lot of the channels on the eve section and even from other more popular games on twitch also break the ToS, and if twitch were to come down on all of them, there would be a a lot of people that would be ban from the site, but still doesn't make it right, the ToS is there and you and all of those channels are breaking by playing music that you don't have a license for it, especially when you are making money from it.

But that still doesn't give you the right to do that, you don't get to broadcast music 24/7 that you don't have the license for it, with ads during those 24 hours, make money out of it and then come here in the forum and say, "i can do it because everyone else is doing", you can't and if twitch or even if the music industry wants they have about a year worth of evidence of copyright infringement made by you.

Also whatever you did with the money from the ads is irrelevant, good on you for donating to charity, but that still doesn't give you the right to break the terms of service of twitch and act like you did nothing wrong.

I have a question, why you would raid someone else's channel and tell people to mass report another streamer (yet again mind you) when that streamers viewers shared a link in your chat of a PVP fight going on. I mean if that's how you want to behave more power to ya girlfriend.

Did the streamer link his stream in yours? Or was it his viewers? You'd need to provide proof of the former as that is, as you said, against the TOS, but if you lack the evidence then you're just needlessly being melodramatic.

Looking back in this thread, I think it's safe to assume he won't get hired anyway, He's already made himself look like an impulsive liar.

Just what CCP is looking for!

I reread some of this for some laughs and I've noticed people complaining about his content. For the most part his content is fairly good, 'given his reason for streaming'. I emphasize, 'given his reason for streaming'.

Now ill elaborate;

Lets ask streamers, if they would like to be paid to stream their game full time and be paid. Full time being 7-8 hours a day 5 days a week. Now from what I have gathered when asking this question 90% say no. You're sitting here wondering why would you say "no"? You could be getting paid to play games all day. That is the point most Gamers play games to deal with stress, enjoyment, or to cure boredom. Now take you game and play it for 8 hours a day, it becomes a 'job'; stressful, long, boring, and well a job. It loses its fun factor after a time period of doing this, and the same would go for content, as you get more and more into the monotony of playing the game as a job your quality of content suffers.

The main problem with Mad Ani's content is that his reasons for streaming; as he has shown, is to make money and or work playing eve for a living. So what he has done is saved himself from going threw the degrading of a good content stream and starting his stream right at the bottom with boredom, and just general content of no real substance.

Just the thoughts of a random person getting back into Eve.

Even so, they do it because they enjoy it and want to. Now make it a job where they have to do it in order to make a living and survive, the game is no longer a 'game'. Thus all the circumstances change around why you play it.

However, I do believe that the people that play that much are the minority.
