That guy didn't like Eve either.

Now , maybe the game is awful - I don't know. I bought it but haven't had time to play it really. Been too busy with Space Engineers.

But there are some things X Rebirth is clearly superior at. Stations (outside of course) are huge and colorful and detailed and alive - teaming with NPC life. That's my biggest gripe with stations in Eve. They just seem dead.

Considering X Rebirth is a single player game, it's not what Eve should be like.

Personaly i love space and im big SF fan, i love EvE but also like other SF themes-games- movies, personaly i will try x rebrith and star citizen, 6 years in EvE make me somthing like hardocre player but im not fanatic, other sf games that make me happy why not...

Ps. Yes would be cool if Devs put to EvE top modern and visual grafic and cool features, however this is specific game a specific world that we love.

My dream - EvE as mix spaceship simulator and world like in mass effect,This would be epic.

If it bleed we can kill it.

X:Rebirth is okay. I'm a little disappointed at the degree of console-ification relative to previous X games (how the **** is there no "target nearest" key? Literally the only way to select a target is to click on it), but it's pretty solid in its own right.

That said, it's a very different kind of game than Eve, and there is little that Eve could usefully take from it.

Sadly, that's about the only thing rebirth has going for it at the moment.

Go to Jita or Amarr, those stations won't just seem alive, the undocks will actually be alive.

X Rebirth ******* sucks. I paid 49 bucks for that garbage. People are playing that game on 780's getting 20 fps. That's ridiculous.

I can barely manage 40 with 2 GTX 680's.

It's the typical small developer release business, people are flipping out.

I've yet to play a game from a small developer that wasn't bugged straight to **** on launch.

Hell, EVE has had it's fair share of holy ******* bugs batman what with the boot.ini stuff and a handful of other particularly stupid gaffes.

I'm fine with having to have limited expectations because of the developer not having infinite funds or time, but the UI is worse than EVE (never thought I'd say it) and it's great for people who love PI, mining and all that stuff. I do PVP and piracy so Rebirth has nothing for me, it's like watching paint dry.

I only have a 570 and it runs fine for me, even with Eve open on my second monitor.
