Make a F2P version of the Eve client, call it 'Rats Online', and let people spawn into random rats in Eve. They could pay to get into elite frigs and cruisers and stuff.

The idea of having really casuals play as "npc people" who can be killed ... as risk ... for being free to play ... is nice. *cough*

That'd actually work ! (i have written that down in some thread somewhere, in the past ^_^)
