Hi All,

I know that the mini map allows you to see the cone of your directional Scanner and the distance of the scanner via the green Orb, this is helpful for D scanning as i can focus on a particular planet moon etc and also to know if i am out of scan range from example a POS.

Is there any way to enlarge this mini map perhaps a filter on map view?

Please no comments like "It's called a mini map for a reason"

Press F11 and its the one at the bottom - If you open the D scanner you will see the Scan direction

I agree that it would be nice to be able to enlarge the solar system mini map but I've never found a way to pull it off. The next closest thing I can think of is the solar system view in the star map, but it doesn't show your directional scan radius or direction so its somewhat useless in that respect. X

it do shows direction.

The mini-map does show directional scanner angular direction, the 3D solar system map feature inside the star map does not.
