Why do NPCs keep spawning, instead of warping in like EVERYBODY ELSE !

I've already made a post about this here, in the TestServer FeedBack Thread.

Only three likes.

Really ??

They should have to warp in, just like me and you !

And you can't tell me they're all cloaked up and simply waiting,
because THAT MAKES NO ******* SENSE !

Doesn't ANYBODY else out there care about this ???

does it really matter? the end result is the same.

Yay, this account hasn't had its signature banned. or its account, if you're reading this.

Because people would either complain they're not affected by bubbles, or set up bubbles in anomalies to get ridiculous kill rates in blaster ships as all NPCs would be delivered at point-blank range.

They do warp in. It only appears that they spawn because their ships aren't tagged with the same transponders as ours, resulting in our HUDs being unable to display their relative locations and warp vectors until they're in visual range. This is also why they don't appear in local.

Rubicon will allow us to have the same warp speeds and implants that the NPC's have had all the time, meaning we too can now 'just appear' on grid.
There, how does that explanation grab you?

actually they changed deceleration to stop people "appearing" on grid.

No, it's not !

You're talking about a specific moment in time.

I'm talking about the time-frame ending in that moment.

And about realism.

And perception.

People perceive time.

You are completely ignoring perception.

asteroid belt npcs warp in, and warp off.

npcs in missions and exploration sites simply appear.

Maybe it's too much work to have them warp in as well.

Just the facts.

i approve, i think it would add quite a bit of immersion if npc's were to actually warp in.
alas, most missions would have to be reworked then. :-/

Honestly, how hard could it be to make them warp on grid rather than this "casper the ******* ghost" crap!? Hell, belt rats already do it.

And btw, casper really is an ass hole...well, he should be. Who in their right minds would be "friendly" if they could go all invisible and ****.

+1, motha' *******. And sorry for the Mr Torgue language, just got done playing Borderlands 2 this morning.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

They all have cloaks fitted, which also explains why their fits are so dumb, gotta make room for that cloak :V

No !

Why ?

Just have the ships warp in to where they should spawn ! :D

CCP can just spawn them at distance and let them warp in ! :D

they don't actually fit cloaks.. their ships are "cloak-enabled" which means that they are cloaked when you come on grid. AND... they will uncloak and attack you at their convenience. AND... since it is NOT a fitted module... they will never drop a cloak module. .. Shocked

Lets put it another way: who cares?
