Ministry of Internal Order silent on claims of rogue cybernetic arms

With the murder of an Ardishapur Prime cybernetic prosthetics designer still unresolved, the Ministry of Internal Order remains quiet on the possibility of rogue cybernetic arms.

Gutter Press contacted Inquisitor Ohmel of the MIO, in an attempt to ascertain if there was any threat to the people of New Eden, from murderous cybernetic arms, that have fallen into the wrong hands.

This issue has gripped many within the cyber-replacement enthusiast community, with several arm users concerned about the possibility of subterfuge.

"It is the stuff of nightmares, to think that your cybernetic arm might be a murderer", said one woman.

"I'm a cyberknight, if any of my bits were rebels, they'd have made it obvious by now", said a Khanid man.

"Forewarned is forearmed", said another woman "With the knowledge that some arms may be dangerous, proper security measures can be put in place".

"Any claims of murderous arms are being spread by enemies of Yonis Ardishapur", said one man.

Gutter Press, the finger on the pulse of New Eden news stories.

Just the facts.

This is obviously disinformation aimed to damage both the Ministry and the Empire. I suppose that it would be too much to expect the Gutter to run actual news instead of hearsay and fabrications.

When I have to tell you it's a joke, that's about as bad as it gets...

So I should have helped my friend instead of telling him 'Stop hitting himself' when he got his new arm? Ops!

At the end of things — the Day of Days, the day of Wrath — God will rip the rogue cybernetic arms off of the Pure and throw the rogue cybernetic arms into the Pit, while He welcomes the Pure into Paradise and gives them new arms with which to praise and glorify God forever. But God will leave the rogue cybernetic arms on the Wicked and throw them into the Pit to be tormented by their own cybernetic arms forever. Because God is just. Amen. Amarr Victor.

The Gutter may have written this article as some kind of humourous article, but there are those in New Eden who take it as gospel. I am merely getting across my own viewpoint. That I think the employees of the Gutter should be fired out of the airlock is besides the point.

I'm glad the Intergalactic Skyball League has strict guidelines on what cybernetics players are allowed so we wouldn't see assassination added to the list of possible fouls in the sphere!

Eh, fair point. Can't really disagree.

Going out on a limb here, I think we should all try to lend a hand if we see someone being strong-armed by their own cybernetics.

I'd like to go on record and say no limbs I produce have ever been sold to any Amarrian entities yet but have proven a 100% non-lethal tendencies towards their hosts. The ones referenced in this article are not designed by myself and any mention to the contrary are lies and slander and will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

No matter how you look at it, arms dealers are dangerous and should be handled with extreme caution.

The rumours of 'Rogue' prosthesis, are spread by fools who do not understand the world around them. Labelling 'Arms dealers' as criminals because of possible faulty goods insane. Also making me question the validity of these claims in the first place.
