And yet isk is changing hands. Insanity.

I really don't understand where these investors think the isk to pay them back weekly will come from. Last I checked, roaming without a clue into lowsec and getting nuked and podded was not a profitable venture.

To be fair I don't think they really expect their money back. They're probably just trying to help him out. Which is funny as T1 frigs are dirt cheap. Their isk.

I guess I was wrong. This is Charity discussions after all.

I came from a place where I had to beg a friend to please loan me 1M (that's 1 Million ISK) so I could buy & fit a destroyer for level 2 missions. (That was when you started with 5000 ISK, the tutorial netted you whopping total of 333 Trit and level 1 missions paid even less than they do now.) Since that 1M loan I have earned all my ISK myself, working by the following principle: first gain ISK, then spend it.

300M ISK is like cyber-chewing gum. Many pilots would and could just gift you 300M and not even notice it.

However, here is the thing. All of us have started the game with exactly 5,000 ISK. We all can remember our first achievement, the first million. Or how amazed we were when we earned 20.000 ISK a day in our Venture. Those were great achievements. Not only feelings, but those were indeed achievements. Personal achievements and reaching next milestones have nothing to do with "the amount of money" you make.

We all looked up to all the other players with all their expensive ships and modules. We all thought about whether we all would ever get to the point to earn 300M ISK a day like all the others who report in forums of doing so.

Here is the secret, the amount of ISK you earn has pretty much to do with your skills and how wisely and efficiently you invested your skillpoints and whether the skillpoints can help you invest in materials or information that you could use for earning ISK efficiently or not.

Just sending you some ISK won't help you a bit, just rob you of important experiences you need to go through in order to become a better pilot, and to develop a better understanding. Growing up with a golden spoon is "nice and easy", but it robs you of very healthy and important experiences. Experiences that are more worth it than pathetic 300M.

It is better to teach someone to fish for himself instead of handing him out the fishes.

You do good by rather asking for some efficient skilltraining plans, ships, and fittings that might all help you to get to the point where you could earn your own multi-millions a day.

What's up with you wanting to buy a Hammerhead II BPO? If you can afford that something tells me you don't need this loan/sponsorship.

Why don't you do some Advance Military Career tutorial and fast track your way into FW. Join the Militia and become a true leader by killing and inspiring others to follow you. Then you will earn respect and possibly have people willing to be in your Merc fleet.

doesnt play well with others
