EDIT: I posted in the proper forums, mods please delete. Apologies and thank you for your time.

I'm sure I am not the first but hailing people and then using the voice comms for discussion should the hailed party accept would be really cool, Star Trekesque.

Also EverQuest 2 has a feature where your webcam tracks your face and your in game avatar moves it's mouth and facial features to match yours. Would be a neat addition with this as well instead of just bringing up the static avatar.

I am still pretty noob so maybe you can do this already but setting up a voice channel just for one interaction seems kinda discouraging and having a simple direct line that opens and closes quickly would rock.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

I'll give them heroics...and when everyone is super...no one will be.

INB4 you get flamed to death.

I would have liked the idea, if only you posted in the right forum.

I couldn't imagine the server load caused by the avatar facial expressions in local of 2000 highseccers being led into nullsec for the slaughter....

Also, EVE Voice coms. That is a thing.

Also, go back to EQ2...or WoW....your choice.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

most people just talk to their corp members on ts, as most of the time you need to spend a couple of hours if you actually want to do anything worth socialising in. clicking about 3 times to open t, connect and go to the correct channel isnt much time atall.

Ive seen eve voice being used in incursions etc, again most play for hours at a time. Infact eve voice is a basic version of what you want. you start a convo and they have to accept, then you start eve voice, not that its likely they would be willing to accept in some random encounter.

i dont think there is really a need for a chat feature like this.
