I got that sort of behavior by opening the Test Eve Online package and starting the Eve Online app inside. But it was patching to the current TQ build. That's why it was 1.14 gb.

CCP: As you did not get a final performance test of the Mac client, is there going to be another mass test for us Mac users? Or are you just going to deploy and hope for the best?

Sorry, I couldn't make it in time to FD-MLJ due to problems with the patch on my Linux box.

I did fly around a bit and spotted a most peculiar jump from Eletta to Luse. It took what seemed to be forever but was probably in the region of 30 to 40 seconds. On finally getting to Luse there were visual distortions, it looked like I was viewing everything through a fish-eye lens. The overview was blank but the route was still there so I did manage to jump to Eukenbiron. I had no problems coming back.

It seems like our build system failed to deliver the Mac client patch correctly. Our apologies for this - I really would have preferred to have Mac clients present in the mass test. Sad

I am afraid that you will have to wait until tomorrow for the next patch.

Indeed. 2M SP will be compensated (already done for those, who posted in this thread and where I could confirm, that they normally log on with a Mac). Please send me an EVE-mail if you were trying to participate, but missed it because the broken Mac build. Please, only contact me in exactly this case - I don't have a lot of time for this.
