CCP Fozzie is back yet again with a dev blog discussing some features and changes coming in EVE Online Rubicon on the 19th of November. The changes discussed in the blog are taken from the list of reasonable things that the CSM compiled with the community's help, and they are quite awesome.

It was great getting to work with the dev teams to get these things out to the community, and I hope they do improve the game for a lot of pilots, particularly wormholers. I'm happy to have something to point to and say "this, this is what we've done this term".

A little while back, I wrote up the SMA loot drop thing from my perspective as a CSM; it's nice to have both sites of that interaction out so everyone can see what it is we actually do all day*

*ok sometimes what we do all day is just troll each other on skype. BUT SOMETIMES WORK GETS DONE.

Very good blog, and I am personally very happy to see CCP giving the CSM so much (well deserved) public credit.

great stuff. will these SMA drop mechanics be introduced to carrier, orca, supercarrier, titan and rorqual wrecks in the future?

i will be intrigued when the T3 re-balance comes how you will approach various issues like rigs..

- removable rigs or remove rig slots and build in the extra HP and fittings in the subs.. easier for switching armour to shield tanks..

- will you consider moving all the slots and HP/fittings into the hull instead of being in the subs? and the subs would effectively be for bonuses only which is a much easier system to understand and i imagine from a mechanics point of view being much simpler and is more consistent with every other ship in the game....

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

no because the fittings, hp and slots all vary according to the subsystem

If player decide to shoot ejected loot (ship) from SMA instead of taking it - will this generate kill mail?

AIUI then it's just a ship in space and would have a killmail (or not) same as if you ejected a ship from an online SMA then shot it up.

so you're actually suggesting that all t3 configurations should have the same hp, fittings and slots?

Looking forward to the T3 costs taking a nose dive as thousands of hulls flood the Jita market from unknown space dwellers.
