The worst part is when they split up and fly off to attack different targets, even though they have been set to focus fire.

CCP promised AI fixes for drones when they changed the NPC AI to target and kill them within 0.001 miliseconds...Guess what...they lied.

P.S. CCP when you do get around to fixing the drone AI please don't insult us with this new feature crap. You are FIXING what you broke not adding a new feature for the record.

yeah, having to play the game to get isk is so stupid, we need better isk printing drones.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

deploying "full flight of drones" is like reloading your gun and pressing F1 again. With some exceptions:
- you cannot overheat your drones
- your drone can die
- you can have lots of ammo in cargo bay (while most of ships carry only 1-2 full flights of drones)

You read it wrong. They're focusing on firing, not targeting.

only if EWAR comes first (then drones will auto aggro). When you launch them while ALREADY having aggro they won't do a thing.

Also, I apparently missed the memo where tracking disrupters will affect your drones, and sensor dampeners will increase your drone's lock time . . . at least you can web/TP drones one at at a time, amirite?

Cor a drone thread

- Make drones consume ammo
- Make drones comsume capacitor
- Make drones require wires connected between them and host lolz

So many options available to drone users that any ship that can field 5 heavy drones can fill any role they want.

Need to neutralize stuff? Drop neutralizer drones
Need to repair Armor? Drop Armor rep drones
Need to repair Shield? Drop shield rep drones
Need to web stuff? Drop webbing drones
Need to jam stuff? Drop ECM drones
Need to target paint stuff? Drone target painting drones
Need to tracking disrupt stuff? Drop tracking disruption drones
Need to do EMP, Explosive, Kinetic, Thermal damage? Drop whatever you need drones

Drones are in such a bad state (not). They are the Swiss Army knife. Imagine configuring your Raven to do all of the above? You'd be the baddiest loss mail of the week. Drones allow you to be the baddiest but still keep your street cred.

Not very EVE like tbh.

The current Drone code is probably the oldest, and subsequently the most broken code in the game. However with Drones rising in popularity due to personal preference and new Drone ships, expect a revamp Soon TM
