I've been playing since April 1st, 2006. Sold that original character though (legally for ISK). Anyway, been around since then.

Ascendent Frontier was all the rage, until BoB took them out.

Was in before GoonSwarm. Lol

Still remember Innominate Nightmare and his travels. His blog was a great read.

Actually I played in very late 2003 and early 2004 but not really much and lost my character credentials. I don't even remember his name.

thought the game was boring, came back in '06 and rolled Chand :D

Best memories:

- Building the first outpost in Paragon Soul (I forget the system)
- Getting subsequently smashed by Band of Brothers in Paragon Soul
- Escorting freighters from highsec to deep null
- Creating regional gate to gate bookmark set
- NO CYNOS
- Blaster Mega's being the scariest ship in the game.

No T2 except Miner 2's. No rigs. No Pos's. Spending hours upon hours creating insta bookmarks and even more hours copying them. Yulai was the main trade hub.

But my first and still played character Gadgette was born on 2004.02.02, getting close to the magic 10! Can't wait for access to that private 10 year vet station!! Lol

My "way back when" stories included:

Trying to be part of "Big Blue".
Thinking Bob really was going to own all of Eve.
Being amazed at seeing a Battleship for the first time,
Knowing you couldn't perma-camp a gate.
Seeing the first successful gate snipers that made gates start to seem like false security.
Being able to buy almost anything from NPCs.
Thinking that ganking NPC comvoys was amazing isks!
Thinking making trade runs of stuff like tobacco was a good living.
Being in the goons when they first became an alliance and really seeing what being at war was like and thinking how awesome giant fleets of frigates could be.
Having just flying around to see all the tourist destinations CCP had built into the 'verse.

Started 16th May 2003 though for some reason my startup corp doesn't show, but Fed Customs does in June (you could join any NPC corp in those days).

Come on these bookmarks where quite handy when you wanted to put some lag into the system when hostiles came in Blink .
