Any interest in creating a fund or investment corp

I am not trying to recruit people into a corp, however I think a corp of alts are possible or I would be interested in putting in an alt in a corp that already is doing this.However this has more to do with markets than trying to build a corp or be recruited and that is why I am posting this in the market discussions forum.

What I am looking to do is find other like minded people that like playing or influencing the market. I am a non-tradition student and I am studying Political Science and Economics. I would like to create a group or find a group that has similar interest and have enough isk to invest. I was thinking about setting the bar at something like 20 billion isk or 50 billion isk and want to discuss strategy, markets and maybe combine efforts. I am just throwing this out to see if there is any interest and to start a discussion. Thank you.

No your English is fine. just what comes out of it when put together is asking for trouble, to say the least.
2 possible outcomes:

1. you get scammed
2. you scam

If you're just looking for likeminded people to talk to about possible market strategies etc, join the SCC-lounge. though keep in mind, everyone is always lying, including me. so if I tell you to buy 20 bil worth of product A and I know you will actually do it, I know I can screw you over by anticipating on it. in the end, you're on your own.

however, if option 2 applies, you already knew that.

Thanks for a more educated response. I understand the difficulties in EVE and scamming and that is why I am not suggesting that some one give me isk or I give some one isk. Instead I proposed finding like minded people to work together.

Example, You have 30 bill isk I have 30 bill isk, together we could do a market action worth 60 bill isk. Hence more market power with out the scamming part. But I agree you made a good point that people could lie and that is why I would want to be on a more personable level with a group of like minded people. Thanks again for your advice and concern.

P.S. I though that SCC trading channel was invite only as I would not do it in open channel that the lounge might be.

It's the 'like-minded' individuals that will be the sticking point - find people you trust first, then talk about forming an organization with them. There may be ways to minimize the amount of risk in such an organization, but that stuff is beyond me.

Spend some time, get to know people. When you find someone you trust and who trusts you, you're ready.

You could create an alt and give it 15b, and pretend it's another player. That way, you and him can do market co-operations.

Last time I tried that, he promised me to double my isk. never trust imaginary friends.
