Ham Tengu, which ammo for sanctums

hi
I currently use a tengu to run sanctums against guristas

im unsure which ammo provides better results, the short range t2 has loads of dps but only 20km range, and im having to fly all over the place

the long range has 36km I think but not as much dps, so im using loads

which is recommended

Use range rigs to push your fury ammo range to 40km. Problem solved.

925dps from a cerberus. Complete with 37.5km range base. Only question becomes why a tengu makes a better HAC than a HAC

because I lost my Ishtar, and haven't replaced it yet - the tengu was mainly for escalation running

Rage + MWD. The problem with range rigs is that they're useless if you want to use HML later for a complex. Its not like you need an afterburner to tank guristas anyway.

I too question the value of range riga. 4x bcs + t2 rof rig should be your main dps set up particularly if you're pimping the fit. Consider one of the range implants? Bearing in mind that with perfect missile skills you're getting 250% of the base range

Because it's the difference between reaching 42km and 74km, even at 700m/s you waist a lot of time burning between targets when spawns may start 70km away.


And a 5% range implant is a little pricey unless you have a dedicated rating alt/clone....which adds all of like 6km after skills with HAMs
