ok i got a huge problem with this. WTF!

Aiight who is the guy who thought to himself that created the new hacking mechanism.

Sure it's fun with the hole click this and click that. Yay I hacked it successfully "high five my b1tches".
However my biggest problem here is the fact once it's successfully hacked open.
The mofo stuff escapes the container and eventually disappears in matters of seconds.

Who the hell came up with that wasteful ideal?

So since there is no turning back with the way hacking used to be.
Can anyone with experience tell me how I can crab all those floating
Items into space before they all vanishes?

Would really appreciate it.

Eve rocks but hacking sucks!

Best thing is that there are a lot of structures in the data sites where you get stuck in thier collision boxes or something and can't even grab one can.

You know, if it just dropped a regular can full of **** after you hacked it people would be complaining about how easy it is and how impossible it is to make a profit on it because the market is so saturated.

Oh wait, they already are.

Do as others that doesn't care for minigames, fly a recon ship -> scan sites when needed -> fly cloaked to sites -> wait for it -> then kill anyone in the site ->leave system with what you grabbed from the wreck you just made. Should be more rewarding then the minigame atleast.

Lewt spew is a ridiculous unwanted mechanic that someone with power at CCP was able to push through despite it being extremely unpopular with the players that pay to play the game.

I'm still trying to figure out how these timed challenges are a good idea in a game where the normal actions of it are very slow and ponderous. Everything's speeding up in Rubicon, too, so we are going to end up with a, dare I say it, twitch game?

Int comes in faster.

Ghost Sites need you to react faster or you'll explode.

The loot spew makes you react within a short amount of time.

It bugs me.

Nah, scandals were october. We need something new for this month. The month is almost halfway over too! Maybe csm speculation?

Scan the container beforehand, see whats it in.
If there is a nice blueprint go for data cans first, then parts, then materials.
If there is a crap blueprint or not blueprint,go parts and then materials.

Look whats popping into cargo bay so if you get the blueprint leave the rest of data, if you get all the purple thinger then leave the rest of parts, etc.
Go for flashy cans before non flashy cans.
If there is one good can floating out of range and you are tractoring the second to last can, MWD towards the last good can.
Zoom out high so that the cans are hardly moving in space, then pick them off easily.

Yes it's pointless, no no one will change it, etc. IIRC it was supposed to encourage group hacking except then someone thought of making cans scannable and then naming them which led to people working out how to grab 80%-90% of loot in about 5 minutes after patch, therefore defeating the purpose and leaving a mechanic that has literally no purpose.

They should change it back because it's impossible to do and the bottom is dropping out of the market because of oversupply.
