Honestly this seems fairly unlikely. This post is entirely supposition by me, but my initial impression is that James seems to prefer staying away from the official forums because it is difficult to control the direction of dialog here. Speaking though a blog allows him to ignore posts disagreeing with him and control the direction of conversation. Erotica 1 did not have that same understanding of the press. This was made abundantly clear between driving the "bonus room" participants to post on the forums, and the "town hall" notes.

Their writing styles are similar, it seems as though James makes himself sound full of himself for comedic effect. Erotica tries not to, but instead seems like even more of an attention grabber by requiring people to post about him.

Overall, James seems to be better at controlling what is said about him and acting through proxies, while Erotica prefers just making headlines.

I do find the idea of redistributing pictures of the scammed players to be disgusting, but I will miss some of the silliness that came out of Erotica's time terrorizing Jita. Do we have any confirmation if the character is just being disposed of or if there was ccp intervention?



Respectfully disagree. Their writing styles are way too similar. As are a handful of other characters on that site.

As for visibility, James knows that to reach the greatest number of people he needs to be here. But here his actions are as ridiculed as they are praised so he limits his interaction to reporting on how many people are dumb enough to jump on his "IPO." On his little blog he has 95% sycophants and 5% haters. It is much easier for him to sit back on blogger and play the supreme being or whatever the f he calls himself and leave this board for Erotica and the parrots.

Yes, this is my own supposition but there are just too many similarities from two 'characters' who both come off as being complete alpha males (or she-male in the case of Erotica) for them to be as joined at the hip in so many areas as those two.

Brief James 315 forums posting history:
His Manifesto thing. He posted a lot of James 315 every day.
Then his blog thing, and he quieted down somewhat. At the same time, a char with a very similar writing style [I've forgotten the first name] Ronuken started posting a dozen times a day with the "praise James" thing. _____ Ronuken was allegedly a senior disciple in the New Order thing. Jim was accused of having many other alts chiming in propping him up as well.
Jim 315's blog presence picked up steam. _____ Ronuken quietly faded away.
Erotica1 appeared, claiming to be the greatest isk-doubler of all. Posted multiple times per day.

Note: Just the way it has looked to me going along. I haven't researched the chars, their histories, blah blah blah. And not going to either.


Steve Ronuken is a pretty active S&I poster - I would be surprised if he's a James alt.

No, it's not Steve Ronuken. Same last name, different char/guy. (Ronuken is one of the random names that comes up during the character naming routine).
