Can anybody here run large fleet fights flawlessly on a laptop?

If yes, what kind of graphics card do you have?

I am thinking about getting a gaming laptop with Geforce GTX 770M - would that be able to do it?

Thanks.

Assuming the other components are on par with the card, you should be able to run any size fights without too many (client-related) issues. Just turn down the details.

I'm running an ASUS G75V with a GTX670 and an i7 3630M 2.4GHz, and I can run fleet fights just fine. Even on my previous computer, a G73, fleet fights were decently playable if I turned details to minimum (and I'm talking 1000+ man fights, sometimes dualboxing).

By the way, despite what older guides tell you, keep your brackets on (except for drones obviously). They are nowhere near the performance hog they used to be, in fact I found them barely affecting performance at all. The situational awareness advantage you get from brackets is well worth it.
