So you like waffles AND battleships? If I get you for secret santa, it's going to have to be a battleship unless CCP introduces waffles in Rubicon.

I like Bacon.

Your idea to get CCP to add more "content" is for them to copy CIG's model of "give us money and we'll promise more things in our non-existant game" is probably the worst thing I've ever read from a backseat-game developer.

To put this in perspective, I've actively read the Star Citizen forums, you're worst than them. That's how bad you are.

It has been made so clear that CCP has an antagonistic relationship with the rest of us.

Look I get that you are a business, and that you have to pay staff and run your business..... still, there must be a better way to extract and "take our money".

Eve is so lacking in content that people actually followed you into nullsec! Says something at least to me about the game. People are bored and they will follow you into the void just to have a little fun. Nullsec is bored, highsec is bored. Why not serve them up on a platter to one another and see what happens? Yeah good call, rob Peter to pay Paul.

Still if you need to extract money from the player base, why not take a look at how some other people are doing it. Star Citizen just passed the 27 million mark. Maybe you can learn something from them and not troll the very people who pay to play a 10 year old game.

Clock is ticking and legacy software has a tendency to collect dust.

What I find amazing is that people like this try to use the ominous specter of an upcoming game as leverage against CCP to get them to change an already successful game into something that is likely to fail like most MMOs do. It's pitiful and dishonest. If SC is gonna be so awesome, why do you people care? Why not just go play SC when it's out and leave us to our dying game lol.

So many games were supposed to kill EVE, and EVE is still here. You'd think that would teach people something, but it never does.

Is this your default response? Who said anything about eve dying? I said the relationship between the player base, specifically those who are just starting eve and CCP is antagonistic. You have to put in two months of quarters to get to the good content. You get this idea right? Eve is not dying, it has a barrier to entry of two months.

Sometimes I shake my head in despair at some of the things CCP do.

Sometimes I shake my head in despair at some of the things the players do.

Mostly I shake my head in despair at the things I do.

But, overall I really enjoy playing Eve.

For those of you who think Eve is so bad...jeez, stop whining and just quit !

If it wasn't for the goons what would those players be doing? I'm sure all new players get to join goons as soon as they log in em I right?

Why do I have a feeling that as soon as SC comes out...these people who claim SC as their savior wont be leaving Eve?

That can be said about any game that require the players to invest time to get somewhere. As far as I know, you have to work your butt off in WoW and every other bloody theme park MMO out there before you can even touch the good stuff and how is that fair if that is the only thing you want to do?

To add insult to injury, the games focus more on what your character is wearing rather than your knowledge and experience as a player which is also really unfair because I learn really fast but I don't have the ridiculous amount of time needed to acquire this or that for my character to even compete.

I realize for some of you English may be a second language so let me repeat what I actually said.

Well, being someone with English as a second language. I know the difference between US and us, so why don't you?

When you say that EVE lacks content. What exactly are we talking about? Unicorns in space? Cow level? Zapp Brannigan?

You would have to be pretty ******* insane to absolutely love everything that CCP or any other company is doing, same can be said about organizations, elected individuals and so forth.
