Mass test on Singularity on Thursday, 14th November, at 17:00 UTC

Hi!
We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Thursday, November 14th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time).

What exactly is being tested?
  • Test client and server performance in Rubicon - last check before the release

How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Test steps:

  • Meet in FD-MLJ at the gate to X-BV98
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Align to planet 1
  • Warps to POS beacon
  • Shoot the control tower
  • Align to Poitot gate
  • Fleet W: Jump to Poitot and setup gate camp
  • Fleet X: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate


What else should I know?
  • We will be moving players to the test system - join the channel massmoveme
  • Please bring many different ships, we will provide cynos for capitals
  • Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

What actually can do with bonus points on Singularity ?
Can I train some skills ? for example, Cruise Missiles I'd like to try them on a test server so I can decide what will train next on real server ?

The Mac client patch will be slightly delayed, it should be available around 16:30 EVE-time. Oops

**** this ****. why do mac users always have those issues with EVE ? at least macs never crash all the time due to spyware and other crap !

It seems like our build system failed to deliver the Mac client patch correctly. Our apologies for this - I really would have preferred to have Mac clients present in the mass test. Sad

I am afraid that you will have to wait until tomorrow for the next patch.
