i always thought the tier 3 bc and destroyers were trouble maybe reduce their turrets to 6 for both or make them rockets for the destroyer and torps for the tier 3 bc's at least you would have a few extra secs to flee before they hit you and you can watch them get ganked by concord at least!

And then they'd be borderline useless for actual combat. Well done. Roll

seriously, I think it was a bad idea is ccp willing to **** off a big part of their revenue stream (miners and missioners)
by making it too easy too gank and collect the mods ect w/o a greater penalty like using battle ships instead ! bam ! bam ! bam

Ganking is more expensive now than it was before the introduction of tier 3 BCs. It in fact became more expensive the moment the patch hit.

Why are you insisting that a patch that made ganking more expensive upsets you?

Its not just this patching. It was crime watch and the loss of insurance on ganks. I said along time ago they (the whiners) may not want these changes. Gankers of old were less organized and less successful in general as they'd sometimes freestyle it with no plan or organization and see what shakes. Some were like drunken idiots going out to hunt and seeing what shooting in the general direction of a deer would get them as an analogy.

All these changes made them need and not just want the kill more. So they mess around less these days because they really want something from the gank attempt. I used low sec gate camps as my base for this way back. Pirates live off loot drops. On the average they make sure they they get said loot drops.

Generally good planning and successful ops/roams/ganks go hand in hand. They made the gankers up their game planning wise...and now they complain even more about it.

The insurance change was released with the same expansion that t3 BCs were.

I believe Freighters are getting a buff but I don't recall if this is accurate or not.

Otherwise, I would suggest getting a corp-mate to assist your freighter in alignment to the next stargate more quickly with stasis webbifiers.
Easy as 1 - 2 - 3
1 - corp mate jumps into system, decloaks, and with webs ready gets prepared to target the freighter. (best in a Huggin with dual webs)
2 - freighter aligns
3 - Corp-mate targets, webs, and watches the lock drop as the freighter insta-warps.

several things to make sure of:
1 - Always keep safties green. If you are in high sec, you can web corp-mates without concord penalty, but if you have safties off and you web the wrong target by mistake... well, you know what happens.
2 - By the time the weapons timer counts down the 60 seconds, you should be able to warp into the next star system ahead of the freighter. Those things are slow.
3 - Corp-Mate means player corp mate, not NPC corp-mate - concord will ruin your day if you try this on an NPC corp-mate.

The other option: don't fly with overly expensive cargo or just double-wrap it. Gankers like showing positive net kill rankings, not net loss. Even with the Tornado, enough to pop a freighter still sees ISK limitations - otherwise you would see freighter ganking with even greater frequency.

Know this: if they want you dead, you will be dead. Fly smarter than them and you place the odds more in your favor.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

I lose track of my patches, thanks for the correction.

The Tier 3 BCs are good to me. the problem is the Freighters and Industrial ship tank. Tier 3 are not the only ships that are used to burn Freighters...

Battleships should be able to make a little more dps than them. Though.

To be frank, in several languages 3 exclamation marks are used as a language figure to express extreme concern over something. This is a community with peopel from several countries, trying to judge others based on your soloe discretion of what is normal or not is unwise.

Hay they maybe tears from a clown, but the fact is they are responsible for most if not all the high sec ganking
that suggest malicious intent by ccp intended towards being menacing towards all the hard working masses
they are the ones building the ships and making the eve world go around!

maybe they should think about that that all!

why dont they make the tier 3 bc the torp version of the stealth bomber w/o the cloak or bomb bonus
at least they would have a legitimate use!

With lord Xanex by my side I can do anything (Atleast with a smile) !!!!

So increasing the cost of ganking implies malicious intent on CCP's part towards the targets of ganks.

Hear that CCP? Freighter pilots demand that the cost to gank them be decreased as a sign of your benign intent towards them.

Yep, the only time anyone ever uses a t3 BC is for suicide ganking. Also suicide ganking isn't legitimate gameplay.
