In-Game Events and Gatherings

Well, you might make into CCP team for organizing live events, but that might be stretching it.

What? What is this? CCP, don't you even dare!
I've been playing EVE for around a year and a half, still a bit of a noob to the game; frequently learning, frequently evolving so that one day I will make my mark on the EVE universe. Since starting the game I have played solo bouncing from industry corps to other carebear corps and even (for a short time running corps). My efforts in understanding the game was truly a grind.

In the last.. 6 months or so, I have truly discovered EVE through the use of Streams:
Rusklock (Sexy voice, 10/10 would bang),
Ceofore's (SIrsqueebles - PvP Gang/fleet roams,fittings),
Daopa (All aspects of EVE and Dust),
Hershman (Solo PvP, Nice guy) ,
Biohazard (General gameplay and overall nice guy)
and Carka (Fitting and PVP).
These guys right here, have taught me more in the last 6 months with all aspects; PvP, PvE, Industry and etc. Through the use of their streams which involved; player-generated content and roams, true hospitality, mentoring and how-to segments giving me a place in EVE - meeting lots of high end players and making plenty of potential contacts and friends.

During my time dabbling and exploring the streams, I came across your Stream "Mad_Ani". It was a joke, consisting of a wallpaper with borderline "pilled-to-the-eyeballs" trance plastered with the same old gifs, the same old mess, displaying the same old garbage. Your streams are nothing, AFK, with very, VERY little gamer created content.
Spamming and requesting nothing but donations for this gif you call a stream. I've come to realise, pulling this kind of thing off can generate quite a bit of attention and money - However, I could not bring myself to cheat my way to making a quick buck.

So we've gone up from begging for money to begging for a job..... Youre getting more funny everytime. Ah well some people beg in Jita and some just ask ccp for a job. No difference i guess. Must say i followed your stream a bit during the fountain war and it would be nice if ccp found a way to broadcast the big battles in a way or some...... But imo ill go for CCP-DBRB in that case at least he's entertaining and is not a beggar.

ps. i find streams like the ones of sirsqueebles way better if you want to learn anything about this game.

Hire him for ******* what??? streaming stations and playing music?? oh yeah and from time to time he show's some square's killing ther square's....any new player cant understand what is going on there....

Well, seems like there are quite a few opinions that are different from mine.

I have only been watching since June, so I don't know how it was like before and lately with exams on my university, I don't log in so much. But I have to say a few things.

1) I have never seen him ask for people to subscribe. He always asks viewers to, if enjoying the stream, FOLLOW him.

2) I have never been ignored on his stream and in the beginning when I couldn't understand anything, he would ALWAYS explaing what was happening and try to make sense of a game that for an outsider who never tried it, is a bit hard.

3) I have never seen him asking for money or donations. When he got the new computer, it was something those who were watching the stream told him to do and started helping him, because he was having a lot of problems with his pc shutting down. But never did he say something like "please give me money, I dont want to work, dont make me work..." as some people seem to be thinking.
From what I saw, it was quite the opposite. He only started going AFK for long periods of time, from what I heard him saying, because he was looking fo a job, and didn't find any. Now, he found one and maybe another opportunity, but viewers asked him, as I did once too, to try and see if he could work for CCP and keep doing what he does. There is no begging for a job there. He is showing what viewers asked of him and giving numbers that demonstrate that his stream does actually bring more people to EVE. Now, if that is something CCP would like to have, is for only them to decide, and not players.

Well, that's about what I had to say. No one needs to have the same opinion as I do, and I understand that some people will strongly disagree with me, but you shouldn't lie about what he does or doesn't do on his stream.

Edit: And just to clarify if someone says differently: I don't subscribe to him and never donated. But I don't really care if someone decides to give him money or not. If the viewers want to give someone money, that's their business. We all know how much we can afford to spend and how wisely to do so. I will never give money to someone when I can barely afford what I need and my fun time stuff.
