If the community then championed you to CCP for employment then all well and good but to come out and say hey my viewers think you should hire me so I can do this full time is bad form. You don't see other couminity sites that have 24 hr content doing this?

Good luck Ani I wish you well with your campaign. I also hope you keep up the great work you are doing with twitch streaming and such.

I was personally influenced by Mad Ani to finally give EVE online a real try about 1 month ago. I was always on edge concerning the game but watching his stream and chatting with him and the other regulars persuaded me to sub. Mad Ani cannot continue to support himself and maintain the amount of work he puts into the stream on a daily basis. Yet his stream has undoubtedly brought many new players like me.

Being about 3 weeks in I can say I am not disappointed and look forward to having a long career in EVE online.

BTW CCP if you are going to pay Mad Ani there are a lot of us who create the content his stream would be pointless without who would like to know when our checks are coming?

I feel pretty bad for the people that subscribe to Mad Ani's stream. I have watched it quite a few times and during the big fights he doesn't do that good of a job explaining it and then he gets mad at the viewers when someone who obviously doesn't play the game joins the stream and asks whats going on he responds to them "Ive said it enough already go watch the recording if you want to know, I am not repeating it again." Streaming is 100% about the viewers if you are too big of a douche to cater to the viewers then you are a terrible streamer.

That being said he does put a lot of effort in keeping the stream running and covering the fights and I applaud him for that effort streaming eve is not easy people constantly tracking you down because its impossible to hide everything on the UI that tells your position. If Mad Ani could learn more about the tactics, gameplay, mindset of the fcs and be more accommodating to the viewers I would love to see him work at CCP in a Community Representative position where his main role is to stream the big fights and explain whats going on and potentially have an evetv type deal where post fight he invites FCs onto the stream via skype etc and have them explain what went right/wrong in their point of view and what they feel they could have done better.

What month is it? Is it April? Is it April 1st? No? Then what the hell is this.

The implication that having a mediocre-trance laden, gif-covered afk stream of 90% TiDi fleet battles is worth CCPs money is baffling to me.

If CCP wanted this service, they could save money by simply starting a twitch account and putting up a slideshow of a random fight. Perhaps they could sit a dead gofer in front of a webcam to serve as the dispassionate commentator.

I'm all for EVE publicity but the publicity from this stream is more internal than external. Quite frankly I would never have started this game if his stream was my first exposure and I'm quite certain I'm not alone in that regard.

You've provided little to no context for any of the fights you stream and when asked what it is or whats going on you snap at the chat.

I'm not sure why you should be paid to sit around at home streaming ever few hours and why you can't setup a team that can fill in most timezones. CCP doesn't need you.
