Launcher.exe error

Has anyone lately been getting the message that the launcher.exe file has stopped working. has been like this for 2 days, have tried repairing. Wanted to enquire first before uninstalling game and re-install, which would be a pain.

You can attempt to reinstall just the EVE Launcher rather than the whole client; the link is http://cdn1.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/release/EVEOnlineLauncher_2_1_613956.exe

Thank You. I tried the link you sent and ran the program, but I am still experiencing the same issue. I'm guessing an install and re-install is required, somewhere a file has gotten messed up.

When i click on the shortcut, or when i use the run as admin. The launcher comes on the screen, then i get an error box telling me the laucher.exe has stopped working. Only option is to select close, which i do and it closes down the launcher.

I have even uninstalled and re-installed the client. I still recieve the same issue of windows telling me the Launcher.exe has stopped working. Checked I have current drivers as I had a similar issue with Batman : Origins crashing on me. At a loss what to do. My skill queue has now run out as I haven't been able to log on to update it.

Which version of Windows are you using? Have you tried to run it in compatibility mode?

A Friend of mine got the same problem, we tried a new installation, but the same error happen.
We just try to launch the safe mode in admin mode and could get to the game.

But the problem remain with the eve.exe ...

Repair didn,'t do anything.
If you need the launcher log, just tell us.

(the log show a block at 12.4 % of the client verification)

A log would be great. If you can get it and paste it to http://pastebin.com/ that would be excellent, since I can dig through it.

Log looks fine, was there anything in particular that was in the logfile?

The only successfull try was the eve safe mode, with admin right.

We still experience the first problem showed in the log

Then the error : eve.exe a cesser de fonctionner ( eve.exe has stopped working )

[EDIT] After two day we just reinstall window => problem fixed :p sorry for not being able to help more
