What do you expect ? It's a bug, try reinstalling it and see if it fixes it.

(Also, you should post more informations about your PC. I mean, the hardware references for example. It will help devs to know what's causing this problem)

My OS is Win 7 64bits professionnal edition.

I've tried 5 times ... this problem apears 2 or 3 patch ago. And the last time I was force to download the full install to test the new version of singularity. I used the Sisi launcher for a long time, and never had problems before !

I have a core 2 processor and Geforce 9800GT.

Thanks for your help.

Did you also try the Launcher.exe you can find inside the EVE Online installation folder?

Thanks for posting the log! I can look at this issue later and try to fix it

if the launcher doesn't work for you you can also use the repair tool with the following commandline:

repair.exe --server=SISI

i'm assuming you are trying to connect to Singularity

stuff

Hi thanks for the replies.

I've tried the launcher and it didn't launch (it tells me that the software is not a valid 64bit program) and the repair throws the same exception.

I literally have the exact same problem.

Nothing works (and it was working the day before yesterday).

I get the exact same error with everything I try.

I've tried every version of getting an up to date client and it errors out.

To top it off, I tried to copy the client over and just manually patch it, but the patches aren't matching the expected model (There are only 2 patch versions up right now and neither one finds its expected client version).

The SiSi launcher has literally never worked for me in the past, it constantly gives me this exact error, I've always had to manually copy the client, change the target line, and manually add the patches, but right now, you don't have the complete patch set up to even try to do that with.

EDIT: Also, is it that hard to just put a link to an actual fully patched client? The link you have right now, gets downloaded, and still needs to be patched.

I mean if it says "Full Client Download" how hard is it to link directly to exactly that, a fully patched client to download? The current error comes during the patch, so get rid of the need for it and just link us directly to a full patched client.

It doesnt work with any localized version of windows 7 if the profile name contains international characters.
I would urge CCP developers to set up russian win7 box, create user ХАБАХАБА and attempt to use their famous updater.

I predict another boot.ini fiasco.

Where do I put that command line? I just ran the repair tool and it screwed up my singularity install..

IT all started though when I went to log in on Sing today and had to update.. I let the update run, and when it was done it still said incompatible versions. The version on my screen said 7.20.318095 but according to the monitor the version is supposed to be this - 7.2.318095. See the difference? An extra 0 after the 2. Not sure how to fix it though. Doesn't matter, looks like I have to reinstall the entire thing now though.. IT's all jacked up..

I can confirm that the above works if you run it in the Singularity \EVE folder.

Patching from the SisiLauncher appears broken on my end.

confirming this. I've tried everything, including repairing the client to tranq and patching again. sisilauncher won't patch, repair command line doesn't patch, and the normal eve patching tool fails.

Ok, had the same problem. This is how I got it to work.

Basically, in your Singularity folder, run eve.exe.

The game will launch you into the main menu, then prompt you to download a 25MB update. After installing that, you're home free.

Unless you get the same error while applying that 25mb patch that is.

if you can't get repair.exe to work and don't know how to use the sisi option with it, do this, its very simple:

in windows, right click on the repair.exe in your sisi folder, select 'create shortcut'.
Then edit the properties of the shortcut, and where it says TARGET, add the --server=SISI to the end of what it shows.

For me, mine became:
"F:\EVE Singularity\repair.exe" --server=SISI

Obviously the path will show where your eve is installed, for example, yours might be:
"C:\Program Files\EVE SiSi\repair.exe" --server=SISI

Did a quick patch, and sisi worked perfectly for me.

Hope this helps.
