I like the current system. It means If my sell order is the lowest, but someone is too lazy to sort their market list and buys from a price above mine, I get paid at that price.
I think perhaps there should be better warnings if you are a substantial margin outside of the highest orders, but not a change to cut our profits to help out lazy people.

I suggested something like this a year ago. The estimated ISK values on items are far more reasonable than half of the "regional averages" that you get when placing market orders. If you get a warning message on more than 90% of your trades even when it's a reasonable price, well that ain't much of notice now is it?

Oh btw, when they accidentally take your overpriced sell order the transaction still occurs with the lowest seller. So even if they pay your price by terrible spreadsheet mishap, it's still the lowest matching sell order that profits. The guy with the 1,999,999.99 Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction is now accommodating the bottom order of 1,999,999,999.99 and it's his Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction that gets sold for that price.

+1 good idea, has been mentioned many times in the past.

I kinda feel bad for OP - so many moronic responses here from people that can't understand the post and/or don't know how the market functions.
