Fellow hull miners!
I just created a channel for all the pvp loving w-dwellers: The super duper “Pink vs. Purple” channel.
This channel is dedicated to the brave souls that can't just find a fight tonight. Meet other bored people, gear up and challenge them to pay honor with a bloody sacrifice for the great one. Bob would love this experiment to work and this can only work if you honor your PvP arrangements!

Join now biggish and smallish groups alike and let there be wrecks! That’s what we play eve for isn’t it?

Translated it means fully arranged fight's, possibly not even in wormholes, which is killing the effect that is making wormholes so special.. Go to null/low for fights like that..

Right, because if offered a fight you'll turn it down?

Pew is pew, I'm not complaining.

How much herp could a herp derp derp if a herp derp could herp derp.

Agreed. A fight is a fight, though surprise fights are better. Lol

Yes they are but sometimes you get so frustrated ... you are so desperate for fudgecake you buy it from the dirty deli around the block that is just selling cigerrettes and that fudge cake tastes like cigerrettes but its still a fudging fudge cake.. with fudge...

TL:DR: Cant complain about an obvious gain... also Methadon is not Heroin but at least it helps

WH pvp is too difficult for my to find on my own. The whole game is confusing and I just don't get it. Could someone create a channel that just provides my with sissy fights that require little to no work. (Did I mention that I'm lazy and lack the skill/finesse to coax fights out of the unwilling)

Someone please, give me a cookie and an arranged fight, and another cookie (but no walnuts, those are too hard to digest)

Where is that @#$% EASY BUTTON????

PS - I only want good fights, the kind with 4 ecm tengus, 6 guardians and 10+ misc proteus/legion. All the other fights are.... just dumb and worthless and not fun and ..... well you get it.

Dude, we get easy ganks on a daily basis. The whole point of this thread is not to get easy fights but “real fights”.

I don’t know if you are aware of the situation in the lower class WHs. They are inhabited by casual groups a lot and there is like ZERO consensual combat. Some simply don’t fight because they get stomped every time they leave their POS shield, others would like to fight but don’t have the numbers online and are not bored/stupid enough to go on a suicide mission.

I am sure that other casual groups have scheduled OPs from time to time and in this channel they will find likeminded guys that want to sink some isk on the battlefield in honor of Bob.

interesting... trying to get fights with other wh corps through a public channel.... I like the sound of this and will join this channel immediately!

Thank you - now when you schedule a fight and start to leave your wormhole and you find a bubble and a fleet in waiting a few holes down your chain, don't be surprised!!! BOB brought the good fight to you - AND guess what! it's the best kind!

wormhole space is for those who go out searching for a fight, not organizing one like in null / low.... keep ideas like this coming, we'll be able to clear all the nullbears from c1/c2 space soon!!!

I love wormhole space. About the time I get so frustrated I just want to rage quit something else happens that keeps me addicted. Its the only part of EVE I truly love and would never leave.

We are considering moving up to a C5/C5 in the future, because the lower holes are providing ganks, but not 'gudfights'. Of course, a LOT of EVE is now risk averse, so a channel to actually meet up for fights probably isn't a bad thing--at least it lets you get that nut when you really need it because you've been holding it for like two weeks.

Bro get a little finesse and learn to scout. Learn to use the right bait. Go to low sex. Figure out which groups will fight and go for it and learn which groups will pos up and just move on. Arranged fights are like arranged marriages.

If you want something good - drop you soap in Bane's shower. True story.

Dropping soap is always fun, especially if you drop trousers as well. Not sure if I'm attracted to Bane or not though...

Yeah, we're always learning how to properly make things escalate, and sometimes doing very well. However, still like the idea of "bring x to here for x" channel, as long as people are space honorable.

I think we all agree the state of Wormhole PvP is generally in a pretty poor state. Even the feast or famine days of the past are trending towards famine lately, especially for the larger or better known groups. I'm not a fan of the arranged fight at all. Its not the answer to our woes... it will only add to them. WoT is great for arranged fights if that's your thing. But there are things you can do to bring a fight from those who are not generally willing without having to launch an invasion. It takes some time... takes a little creativity and getting to know your targets.

Find their pressure points and....apply pressure. Deny your targets the ability to do what they like to do or what they consider vital. Don't blob them. There are at least 6 possible tactics you can apply. I won't list them here (I have to keep some secrets or my space boss will kill me).

Scale your numbers in the early stages. If your numbers are greater, assign a junior FC to run things and task a small cloaky gang. He doesn't have to win every fight, just lug up your target so they will form up to counter whatever you are doing. Once your target is ready for a fight, bring it in whatever style you want.

This won't happen in a day. Those who are capable of pew, but don't have the experience may take some time to put together a plan. If you get a good fight, keep a scout in there and bring fights regularly when you have a route and maybe you make a rival who wants nothing more than to see your ships burning and your corpses in their hangers. That's a good thing.

If they just won't fight. If they won't come out to defend the things that are important to them. Schedule a weekend and evict them if that's your thing.... or move on to the next target. Totally depends on your style of play.

Mindlessly rolling wormholes just doesn't provide the content it used too because of Odyssey. Be creative. If there is a Bob... he will smile upon you for using his vast universe in surprising ways.

Agreed on all points said. We tend to leave an alt behind (if one is spare) when we find someone who plays. We don't make it where they can't do other things, though.

I see a lot of farmers in W-Space, and I mean, a lot. Of course, my static is a C4.... However, from what I've seen of C5 space, it really seems a large number of groups are in wormhole space simply to farm now, which means it might be time for a Holy Purge to free up holes for PVP entities (only) to live in.
