How to do i run the repair client on a mac? I have been having issues with my probes. I can launch them, scan, change formation and range but i can't click on the white box to move them to where they need to be making them essentially useless. I've tried clearing my cache and relogging but that hasn't worked. I checked online and haven't found any similiar problems so i asked some people in game. It was suggested that i try running the repair client but can't figure out how to find it on a macbook. While poking around for some answers I found a few people with macbooks complaining about messed up icons which has also been a problem for me, does anyone know if these are related?

I have the messed up icons as well. It's artifacts from my operating system environment and seem to change all the time. For example today I had a portion of a video I was playing in YouTube as a ship icon, whereas yesterday it was a segment of my desktop background. They have never rendered properly for me and I have tried clearing caches with no resolution.

To answer your question about the repair.exe file, it is located at:

Quote:
/Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/CCP/EVE

However, getting it to run in the same Cider session the EVE client does is beyond me..

I have an old version of the repair tool. I ran it, then ran the client. The client had to download a patch after that. My assessment: The Mac repair tool is no longer a viable app. Also, the client seems to have some aspects of the repair tool built in. As that is not working for you, try this from https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/EVE_Launcher_Issues_and_Workarounds:

1. Open the Terminal Application or use Finder to work your way to this path:
EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/CCP/EVE

In there delete the "common.ini" file and start the client again. It will start the launcher and repair the client for you automatically.
