I noticed that ISD type40 has vanished. He seem to have stopped posting at january and changed corporation away from ISD corporation at june.

I remember him locking lots of threads and doing good work.

People in EVE (ISD and CCP) vanish weirdly always. Why don't people make official thread to EVE forums when they go away from EVE or change positions? Change is natural part of life and I don't think it need to be shamed. I don't also know if shame is reason why people just vanish without trace.

I opened this thread to discuss why don't people make thread and tell openly if they change positions or leave CCP. I have seen some capsuleers to open thread if they want to leave. Those threads are good and interesting forum content.

I'm pretty sure if memory serves me correctly, he was still around from when I saw him like a month or two ago.

When Bon Scott died and he appeared before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter looked at his record and told him he couldn't get in. Just then, God screams at Peter, "Let him in, Karen Carpenter is driving me nuts. I want to hear some music with balls. We'll haggle over the paperwork later." At least I hope that's what happened.

Obligatory post musing on the expected duration of the thread before its inevitable lock.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Maybe by ISD type40, wouldn't that be ironic?

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

I didn't think you were being serious in the rest of your post either. Well played.

CCP wrote the forum software, which means it's probably possible for a moderator to perma-ban themselves. Now we finally have proof.

edit: I should make that into a sig. Oh wait. Big smile

And knowing CCP, the coding for moderators perma-banning themselves is probably tied in to POS forcefield passwords somehow.

Damn, in that I case I won't open up a bug report on the self-perma-ban, and ISD Type 40 will have to stay in his personal ban-heaven/hell for now.

I miss Type40. That guy could lock a thread like nobodies business.

No ISD lasts very long.

It seems that we, the community, drive them all batshit insane. Some sooner and some later but we always get it done eventually.

Aren't there some who have been at it over a year now though?

Those are character transfers.

We still need the "Type-40 Sensor Booster". It locks stuff faster.
