What do you think of capsuleers with a large employment history?

on a guy younger than 5 - 6 months, yeah it looks like crap.

but on a guy over 4 years old, they are battle scars and good memories.

take a look at Psychotic Monk's Employment history for an example. but get a good book first, because it takes ages to load.

ok, that's a good point
obviously if your list is

black frogs
caldari provisions
black frogs
caldari provisions
black frogs
caldari provisions
..and so forever

obviously this is not a thief
then again, if it's only one corp, then one noob corp and nothing else,
you probably will not seen an application to join from this person
well, except if you are taking care of membership for black frogs, then you can expect several from this guy per day

for me, the last i checked, my employment history was broken, lists 0 items
how would i do if i felt like finding a new corp?
is "error" a popular previous employer list for reqruiters? :P

Don't you care about the lamentable image you are projecting about yourself? Anyone can see you deserve no trust, because you are quitting at first problem you encounter. Or maybe you are just an awoxer or a corp thief. What other reason to act like this?

Check for example character Urodus. Seriously WTF?

It is OK that you have lived in crappy corporations here and there, but anyone systematically dropping their new corp everytime... oh well it is lame. Still the desperate recruiters keep allowing these impatient/i-dont-know-what-i-want scummers onto their failure corporations.

Oh please tell us how to run a corp well. If I join your corp and no one is ever on I'm out. I've joined so many "active" corps its a joke how many of them never had anyone on and yes my corp history is so long it has a loading time. I care about fun and if I don't have any whats the point sitting in the corp that is bringing this boring feeling on.

Means nothing to me as there are a ton of terrible corps out there. No one is ever on, those that are go on about their genitals and whose mother they want to do and crap like that. Many corp's members don't even chat to each other.. Its my free time, don't see why I should spend it with numbskulls... but, meh.. maybe its me Blink

Employment histories of at LEAST a few corporations is fairly typical. Sometimes it just isn't a good match. Maybe they're all on at different times than you. Maybe they all have a different attitude than you. Maybe you've outgrown them, your skills demand something better. Maybe you want to change what you do, say from PVE to industrialist to PVP to whatever. Maybe you want to try your own corporation and get yourself a POS.

There are a lot of legitimate reasons. While a large employment history may be reason to be suspicious, it is not an automatic fail. Only talking to that person will let you know why they moved around and what they are like.

I have 17 corps on my history that are not self made and of those 17 only 10 are unique and if you discount service corps like Estel Arador and the RvB corps you hop in an out of it brings the list down to 7 unique and I can explain perfectly all 7 of those.

By far the most damaging spy is the one that sits in EVE Uni for three months, then has their off-account alt make a corporation, sits in it for a year, then applies to join your corporation and has the 'alt' provide a glowing reference. Much more capable of infiltrating deeply than someone with Psychotic Monk's corp history will ever be.

As for people with a history of short term corp membership - if you decide you want them in your corp, exercise some operational security, and put them into a holding corp for a month or two before promoting them to your main corp, and never trust them with anything of value. Simple. If they are a smash-and-grab AWOXer they will leave for easier prey. If they are a corp thief they will get nothing. If they actually are a fit for your corp, you will know because they stay around.

If only there were more ways to shoot people in highsec without concord intervention, nerf concord, buff wardecs, and ~nerf Highsec~.

it all depends, my corp history most of the times the corps did nothing but mission or mine, thats a huge downer there, not to mention going inactive for a bit sometimes you get removed for being inactive.

now if i wanna train a long skill and dont wanna have spam o cloak of ops i just go to a highsec corp and play when i need to. or to train skills i need too.

I have a long Corp history, so i guess i fit your bill.

There are a few factors involved in my case, some of the corps just didnt fit the bill and or lied to recruit me. Others were failed corps i helped to create. But my main issue is me! It has nothing to do with the people ingame, or how their corp operates.

I personally find it very hard to 'fit in' anywhere, I don't even like talking on the phone to people much less go on teamspeak. I suffer with severe Anxiety and depression, so most of my doubts about a corp that may start out as nothing go into a downward spiral until, i convince myself that your corp hates me.

So yes i'm probably not an ideal recruit, but that doesnt mean i am a spy or a thief. Though with your perspective you have already made up your mind on people like me anyway.

My advice, Don't recruit me. It will save us both the hassle
