If you buy an account your account will be banned.
If you buy a character (following the rules in the Character Bazaar), I'm pretty sure any chat channel bans would stay in place. You buy the character including its history.

Isn't a character-seller required to disclose any negative properties of the character in the Bazaar thread?

(I apologize for posting such a checkable question instead of the answer, I need to run out)

i think that rules is more for serious things like implants and skills. its not like when you sell a toon u have to remember all negative things u did over the years and list them.

Has you ever went so far as chose to go even use want to look more like do?

The rules for disclosure is for sec status and location mostly. The rest of the diligence falls to the buyer. Though a few quick checks of corp/kill history and or Google and you can minimize most risk effectively. It would seem the OP has done just that and the character in question has a sordid past. (I'm betting cap scam alt?)

Just my 2c, if you are buying the character for its ability to do or make something then it being banned is of minimal impact. However, if you are buying a reputation, and you already know it is tarnished, then there isn't anything you can't find on a character with a better history.

Then again a character with a little dirt on does give you room for negotiating a better deal. Awox alts buy cheap and can be flipped (read laundered) for significant profit when done wisely.
