More so than previous Clarion Calls, this is indeed about a narrative (although I'm glad the payoff at the end seems to be enjoyed). For pure mechanics I have my VidBR series I'll be adding to. For this, I just wanted to share a story that I don't think could happen in any other game. The events of Eve always manage to surprise. Eelm promised me that wormhole space would have drama aplenty, and he didn't disappoint Cool

I noticed I upset Penif earlier with my definitely atrocious Proteus piloting while FCing Blink Even though I'm shouting at everyone to get off the wh and charge gloriously into the optimal, I myself spend half the time burning in random directions after having clicked in space, whilst frantically trying to figure out the neuting order and react to ship scanner read outs.

Luckily I have Eld to look after me in my advancing years and point my ship the right way whilst I'm working on plan or other.

But that's an honest reflection of how the fight was. Due to the nature of wh logistics, when fights finally happen, they happen fast. I suppose it feels like being a landlubber who also happens to be the 'man on deck' when the action hits. And then making the best of it.

But even if we hadn't dug ourselves out of that predicament, I would still have remembered the fight fondly. Digging out is one thing but this is the only game that can put you somewhere like that in first place.

I actually wanted to go to bed but just clicked the link to some random video in an office mail: That triage carrier pilot is a damn hero! That fight was intense just to watch. I can't imagine being there.
Although it may sound cheesy, but this felt very real.
It seems I need to get myself some wormhole action going Pirate

Completely understandable, and you did a great job explaining some of the basics of wormhole life. I actually know people who have lived in a class 2 wormhole for 8 months and didn't know how to chain roll.

At least you are flying the proteus which is the t3 of my choice for WH...Blasters are so damn sexy in WHs. ooooo gives me shivers.
All I can say is expect some more interesting things to happen soon.

I have now watched all 3 of the Clarion Calls but I have to say this was a league above the previous two.
How did you get eve to look so.... smooth and good?
Is that some sort of post processing?

I miss more action, more TS recording, voice of Princess, and more close-ups of some part of overview (who neut, scramble, jam you) and more video parts from different pilots like triage, bhal etc. And less time on credits. After it it will be great video where every minute informative and interesting for most of the pilots.

And, Lord, change proteus on arti Loki, so no one will cry - you are shooting in blasters from 15km with zero damage. :)
