I'm surprised it was Razor and not PL.

You do realize that EVERYONE was notified of event and that not everyone plays nicely?

Welcome to Eve.

I am well aware of this. The problem is that CCP were running the event, had total control, LowSec had no dilation. So 3 jumps for us took 45 mins, Razor had nearly an hour to get organized, + they were all sat ready with 150k snipers, I logistically they are well organized but seems like they knew just were we would be. CCP even told us to jump in!

This was lambs to the slaughter. I was one of the later fleet members to die watching everyone get owned the instant they get out of jump.

I was leading the Razor Fleet at that evening and that's the battlereport from our side:

We had a Maelstrom Fleet around in Curse with some friends to fight Nulli / PL / NC.

We got into Immensea where our enemies waited for us setup and ready to go. Suddenly our Scouts reported roughly 1000 "random" pilots from the CCP Event heading our way so we decided not to obliterate Nulli / NC / PL and go for more competent targets which were told to cross our home system Doril "soon". In Catch we went on a Titan that bridged us to Doril.

We changed ships to Armor Hacs (ARRRRMOOOOR HACS) and went to Sendaya Gate at 0km. We had roughly 150 Razor members in fleet at that time, awaiting 1200 "random" targets to jump into us. Ofc we expected the targets to be a bit unorganized that's why we went for it even thou the odds were against us bigtimes.

A Goonswarm Dominix Fleet showed up to help us (read: steal our kills). Random Ships jumped in and were killed before people without Sensorbooster could even lock stuff. It turned into a turkeyshoot.

Our tanks were holding until unhonorable Pandemic Legion cynoed in Snipy Coward Navy Apocs to stop us from fighting the ~goodfitez~.

Needless to say that we obliterated almost everything from the CCP Event that jumped in. Also we obliterated the PL Navy Apoc Fleet later on without losses.

Welcome to Curse.

I think we should take a moment to congratulate Razor on getting their very own "Grr Razor!" thread that even has their name in the title. So many of our CFC bros are overshadowed by goons in this regard but they all do an awful lot of hard work in upsetting the rest of you and really deserve some recognition of their own. Way to go, Razor!

LOL

I believe they call that "Lemming" behavior.

There is no such thing as a PVE (only) event in EVE.

Stop making bad assumptions.

Everyone clearly knows the difference between a PVE and a PVP fit. Most people were in a PVE fit as they were given the impression this was a pirate NPC event. The response on the coms that we were going to 0.4sec 10 min's prior to the event start was shock. Most people didn't know. This was simply down to unclear communication from CCP. The situation of the sites kind of gave my fleet a good idea. Hence being in a PVP fit to the most part.

Most people thought CCP had engineered some new mechanic where they were forming LS fleets (pirates) and flagging them so their could be a 0.5 sec fight. That was one of the general ideas. (temp security status drop etc)

Look i went into the fight partially PVE but mostly PVP fit as i had no idea what the event was going to be. Hence i lasted one's standing of the first blood bath and actually got on a kill unlike most. The TiDi coupled with CCP FC skills and "just jump to Planet 4 when the bubble dispersers rubbish" caused loads of High Sec players to die on probably their first LS adventure. What sort of Dev doesn't know that the bubbles will just get re deployed in the instant they are down and that you wouldn't last long enough to just "warp out" Every wormholer and NullSec guy does.

What takes the **** more is the actual event would have been over even if we had made it past the gate by the time we got their.

Those from the highsec block who went to syndicate where ONE jump from dodixie wich is a main trade hub.I passed by the staging system when they where leaving yet i had time to buy and fit a puriifier ... loose it , buy and refit a new ship in an npc null station from market , loose it then buy and refit a ship from null npc station market AND loose it once more and buy and refit a ship ...

I must be some kind of god to be able to do that while others did not even have the chance to refit ONCE ?

Also it was mentioned an hour before that the null sec guys should form up IN null sec.So they take the risk to go through null sec and get shot down every jump including the form up point full of neuts and reds but you guys should be totally safe from any harm done? And why would they need to form up iin null ... gosh i wonder , maybe that was a hint that pvp was about to happen? It was the only reason you did see people from null sec gathering there because they DID use their brains and could see from a mile away that there was gonna be a massive slugfest to be had.

You can whine and complain all you want , in the end it is your own fault to miss the totally clear endgoal of the event. But then some people need to have something explained out in CLEAR WORDS before they get the picture right?

This fits perfectly with Rubicon. Remember Caesar's crossing the Rubicon was the symbolic beginning of the end for whatever "democratic" processes that existed in Rome. A bit like General, Raymond T. Odierno Crossing the Potomac in a Main Battle tank and occupying the white house. It was the beginning of his dictatorship, it was the beginning of a long and bitter civil war.

The theme we hear so often is "here is no turning back". Yes, my dear fellow high sec carebears and station alts. This is what we will experience as the hordes of well organised well trained barbarians subjugate high sec. It will be like yesterdays bloodletting. Concord will desert us just as CCP did.

These are the last days cash out while you still can.

PS I for one welcome our new masters and await gladly my symbols of servitude and yoke..Sad

The thing is. CCP have made it very clear they want ppl out of H.S and into LS/NullSec. What has actually happened is ppl have run to W.H space as they got pushed out of L.S. By letting the Alliances take over H.S all they will do is push H.Sers into the stations. Many don't know how to get past all the gate camps that littler every H.S entrance. Or how to get into any of these massive alliances.

I have been in LS/NullSec many a time. Its dead as all the alliances fight over their boarder zones. I can only see H.S going the same way as this is pushed on the player base. I can see this months POCO's turning into a kill fest for all the Alliances.

The only options seem to be to join the blob or die for most of these H.S players. I think some eve players forget we were all noobs once.

I like the part where a few thousand roleplayers have no idea what systems in the game are dangerous or what happens in those dangerous systems. I would think knowing these things about the universe would come before making paper hats and spending time in emoticon heavy chat channels?

I jumped into Doril specifically to pod express... don't know about the rest of my bear brethren, but I didn't want to spend the next 2 hours jumping backwards through tidi amirite? I would like to extend my thanks to our friendly 0.0 alliances for facilitating my quick return to highsec. You were very efficient and accomodated me without even being asked.

Hats off to you.

Ok just took part of the event. This simply put was a set up by CCP to hand kills to lowsec!

How did RAZOR get set up that quickly and if it wasn't for time dilation allowing then nearly an hour to get ahead of the dilated systems! Our fleet jumped in to what was simply put... a set up. Was this CCP's present to RAZOR and L.S Alliances? perhaps all the goons complaining about "carebears" was too much and the Dev's gave in?

I love PVP, i love the game. But this set up is utterly unacceptable!

Its this sort of **** that makes people stop playing Eve. CCP you should be ashamed of yourself.

Edit: Info

The CCP Dev took command of the fleet and told them when to jump and where to warp to once "out of the bubble" Then abandoned the fleet when the slaughter started. . This coupled with the sector selection being the cornerstone of all major Null Alliance deployments currently caused a mass slaughter of over 400+ h.s pilots.

You lost to rzr lol their like the backstreet boys of the CFC, now thats emberassing

and you also expected null players to not chew on carebears omg,. you seriously need to get out more

FYI your tears are tasty Shocked

Its RAZOR what else would you expect to happen?
Not that RZR is good or anything, not anymore anyways. I mean c'mon they have to do something to validate how far they have fallen, instead of riding bikes in sendaya with fail op after fail op might as well bring them baby seals for them to club on a silver platter.

I havn't been payimng much attention to EVE these days, but being an ex RZR member which one of their allies is under attack?, or what war are they dodging as usually thats when they go run off to Sendaya....

Oh well the whole thing is about as interesting as Tom Cruise Admits Scientology Contributed to Katie Holmes Split

It was a CCP launch event. Which turned out to be a CCP Dev high sec gift to LS/Null for cannon fodder. Please name the last event where they did this and i will surely bow to your Superior knowledge. Why don't you try reading the rest of the posts to actually understand the context that responce and in fact the responce to the response was written in.

Last event they did an entire CFC fleet was wiped out by concord less that 5 minutes after jumping into the system.

We are deployed to Doril so took like 3 min to set up the gate camp when we knew they where going through there.

^^ this is pretty much the point. Maybe the devs are simply ignorant of this fact...

Next time they might want to spawn a titan in low and get all the high seccers to bridge into VFK... Goons deserve killmails too
