CCP...A Question Regarding Your Stance Toward The Playerbase

The problem with Erotica 1 is that she'll run into the same problem James ran into when running for the CSM. As in you have to give your real life info and actually sign an NDA and pay lip service to the people who bribe you with a free trip to Iceland.

Looking to talk on VOIP with other EVE players? Are you new and need help with EVE (welfare) or looking for advice? Looking for adversarial debate with angry people?

who the hell is erotica1?

and why are people making such a fuss over one random guy getting back some sp, after losing said sp

is there proof of more people randomly getting sp?

how do i go about getting said free sp?

ccp could probably give a player 1 isk, and you people would whine about it Lol

Its not about the SP. Its about the fact that the person in question committed a bannable act, admitted tot hat bannable act, and not only WASNT banned, but was reimbursed something that stemmed from that bannable act. CCP is unwilling to stick to their guns on their own rules lately, and its coming to a head.

As for Erotica1, She is just some person, like me, who points at the giant pink elephant in the room that everyone else is ignoring and shouts THERE IS A GIANT ******* PINK ELEPHANT RIGHT THERE, NOW ******* LOOK AT IT! it also just so happens that she runs a business within the confines of the rules of EVE (something that CCP themselves now DONT do) that makes her money, and people don't like that.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

The real issue is of accountability CCP asks, no demands your unequivocal trust and that players adhere to the spirit of the rules when there is technical grey area. While doing so they waffle back and forth on what is okay and what isn't to the point where absolute zero wiggle room rules ( account sharing) become new test cases for what is permissable. I seem to remember some supers stolen by NC. under a cloud of accoumt sharing was also given a green light as it were. We as players regardless of who runs the game itself require rules and enforcement that even and logical, this is not an extreme demand.

Yeah,
CCP
needs
to
communicate
more.

Honestly? I'd rather have them tell us about updates and new content, than stamp down on every new forum drama that pops up.

Too true, lol.

But seriously, guys.

On topic here.

I want to know if CCP is even aware that EvE exists anymore.

All I ever see is Guard, Fozzie, and Rise......sometimes Falcon.

I guess now they are outsourcing EvE to former employees.

Right and in addition to these, some of us perhaps want them to fix the dramas that they create.

Silence from CCP? Or is it just that CCP’s representatives like any other sane person only opens GD as entertainment, similar to the Sunday comics section, you don’t take it seriously because the trolls, backseat drivers, Monday morning politicos, and general lack of anything intelligent deserves exactly that, Nothing.

Want a stake in the company buy some stock in Novator or General Catalyst, about $600mil in either will give you some executive power, and then you can drive the company into the ground with your grassroots ideas and high school diploma

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

It's more likely they just aren't out of bed yet.

Player 1 lies every day. Has the filthiest of reputations for inciting random drama for publicity, is well known by just about everyone to always say things that are not the truth.

Now do I trust player 1 to accurately retell the facts in an unbiased manner?

Tell me again about how every playstyle you dont engage in "doesn't require any effort" and everyone who does it needs to die in a fire. Be sure to mention about how you tried it once but it was too easy/boring/ethnic-homophobic slur.

Do you trust EVE's API system to give you accurate and reliable numbers? 'cause that's where the information came from.

Get this. Maybe CCP actually cares about ALL of their playerbase, and not just the popular "emergent content" generating groups that are seemingly trying to find all sorts of ways to make the lesser players unsubscribe? Maybe CCP as a business sees posting a response on this forum about this topic as a huge and unnecessary risk to their subscriber numbers?

Or I guess the ideas of people unsubscribing over months of assets and progression lost to activities not related to any CCP envisioned EVE experience and simple business risk assessment are just too outlandish for the high-denizens of EVE to understand.

The other things were shady, and the whole "CCP hasn't said a thing" is getting a bit tiresome, but i personally agree with the skillpoint reimbursement. That player has, afterall, paid for all that time. Hardly his fault to fall for Erotica's room of tear collection, even if he was sharing passwords with his brother, or if his brother doesn't even exist. Erotica has demonstrated repeatedly his ability to fool people into believing his lies, for the promises of riches which they will never recieve. Personally, i think podding someone over and over for just such twisted amusement is the hight of bad-play, and their "bonus-room" is nothing but a place where they exploit the vulnerable for their own selfish pleasure.

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

Really? The API system tells you who was using the account at any given time? It also tells you that they acquired the password and username in a consensual manner?

Also why do CCP owe it to Erotica1 to discuss their handling of a support ticket regarding another player? That's sort of stupid for any business to do.

Stop you're ruining their transparent attempts to manufacture drama to draw attention to whomever the **** erotica 1 is in the hopes he gets a free trip to Iceland.

I hope you are aware that none of this is based on simple hearsay. The entire thing was well documented. I have dozens of Heavy Rayne corpses in my hangar.

Heavy Rayne tried to blame his brother for his actions. This is after he threatened to violate the EULA by logging in to his brother's account. Heavy Rayne wasn't the victim of his brother, or anybody else. He was willing to victimize his brother.

What was the punishment for his untoward behaviour? None. No punishment whatsoever.

It would seem he was actually rewarded for his bad behaviour, given that he enjoyed the company of the Bonus Room crowd while he was being podded, only to have those pods reversed by CCP. Rayne was fully aware of what was happening. That much is evident within the TS recordings.

In this case, the facts, which are well documented, speak for themselves.

Nah, but an API does show EvEMails revealing to the corp's CEO that there were account sharing issues.

So, yea. I guess the actual PEOPLE playing on the account are liars.

Wow yeah, pretty conclusive evidence.

Good thing Erotica linked all that data. Or you'd have to be some kind of touched to think the games most popular scammer isn't, you know, scamming.
