I looked around and could not for the life of me figure out where to post this. My issue is that whenever I start up the game, I get the splash screen, immediately followed by a black screen where i can move around the eve mouse, but never does anything else, the game worked fine for months, and then all of a sudden does this to me, if someone knows how to fix this problem, just let me know everything you need to know from me, and how i can tell you?

A friend had this issue. After video drivers are updated, the video driver crashes, then recovers (Windows 7) and then works normally. The crash is annoying but better than no display at all.

Try upgrading your video drivers if they are not the latest.

EDIT: playing in window mode also seems to make a difference.

Playing in window mode may be able to help, but i have no idea how to start it in window mode when i cannot even get onto the logon screen. I am honestly kinda irritated as my training queue is now completely empty and i am wasting time/money as of right now. and yes by the way my drivers are all up to date, i have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, i guess it decided i am not worthy of playing it anymore haha. here is a full list of everything i have tried to no avail:

∞ repair tool
∞ uninstall/reinstall
∞ windows update
∞ ran CHKDISC
∞ tried to run in compatability mode
∞ tried to change the shortcut to ignore the cash files
∞ deleted the cach files
∞ threw computer at wall (not really but as of now it sounds like it might help)

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Well, the Issues, Workarounds & Localization forum is probably the proper place to look for ideas.
