Hello. I have a problem.

I have HP Pavilion g6 with two GPU: ATI HD4200 and ATI HD6470M (which supports dx11)
I'm running EVE on HD6470M and it's working fine, but i can't run launcher on this GPU. So as result i can't select DX11 in it, because "Your computer only supports DX9" and switch is frozen.

Help me solve this problem, please.

- Thank you.

I'm unfortunately not too familiar with AMD's Dual Graphics setup, which is what I'm assuming you have, but I assume that somewhere in the Vision Engine Control Center you can set, per application, which video adapter to use. Try adding a setting for the launcher.exe so that it recognizes the DX11 card.

We will continue to look into this and talk to ATI about adding the launcher as an application that should run under the high end card.

I'm already tried to set "High Performance" in "VISION Engine Control Center" for \launcher\launcher.exe (and for eve.exe also) but it doesn't help at all.
To be clear, for EVE it's works, but not as good as i think it should. When i set "High Performance" for "exefile" EVE starts using HD6470M, but in game setting i have only HD4200 and not a single HD6470M (damn you switchable ATI graphic!).

By the way, maybe i could try to run exefile with some special keys like "/dx11", or whatever?

Try setting an override for the versioned executable in the launcher subfolder. It should be something like launcher\appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.645308.win32\launcher.exe

I did all what i can.
I installed oldest drivers, newest drivers, update my BIOS. Nothing helped.

But then i tried to launch an EVE after uninstalling ati drivers. And launcher give me a "DX11" option.
And i pressed "PLAY". And you know what? It's working!
It's ugly and i can't change the screen resolution but it's working.
How? Why? I dont know. Magic.

Right now i'm installing drivers from HP site. Lets see what happen.

Ok then. So i installed ATI drivers from HP site and i'm still able to choose a DX version. It's at last good news...
But i can't change resolution setting in full screen mode. In windowed, btw, all works perfect.
By default a screen resolution is 1024x768, and the screen resolution of my pc is 1366x768.

If i get back to DX9 I haven't problems with resolution setting
