So I guess instead of complaining and raging, its more like Thank You Razor, Thank You Goons and Pandemic Legion - and Thank You fellow High Sec'ers to give us the reason for the upcoming expansions features. Without you we would have an expansion without lore to back it up, Thank you ...

Thank You ...

I giggled manically when wave after wave after wave came at us in this narrow passage.

10/10 woud fight again.

Man, you euros have all the fun. I had to jealously listen to jabber while you all dogpiled the event fleet... someday, oh, someday, CCP will bless us USTZ'ers with one of these...

Ok just took part of the event. This simply put was a set up by CCP to hand kills to lowsec!

How did RAZOR get set up that quickly of it wasn't for time dilation allowing then nearly an hour get get their ahead of the dilated systems! Our fleet jumped in to what was simply put... a set up. Was this CCP's present to RAZOR ? perhaps all the goons complaining about "carebears" was too much and the Dev's gave in?

I love PVP, i love the game. But this set up is utterly unacceptable!

Its this sort of **** that makes people stop playing Eve. CCP you should be ashamed of yourself.

1. RAZOR has been stationed in Doril for two months now. That's why we 'got there' so fast. We're there all the time. We have 100-150 people logged into Doril at evening every day.
2. You jumped into Null-Security space. You experienced what Null-Security space is like. What did you expect? It wasn't an exception because of you guys jumping in, it was what we do every day - just not with targets as juicy as this :)

On a non-flippant note. The carebears who will cry have no right to cry. Everyone could have turned back at any point they wished. Did they really expect it to be safe and sound once they passed the yellow gates into orange danger? What about when they crossed over from orange to the red dots of death? CCP were never going to hold our hands and protect us. Yes, I feel it's a shame that we don't occasionally get events where we can play a positive role without risking our arse, but at the same time if you cross those lines, you can't expect CCP to bend the rules.

Lets just put it like this: Getting a gatecamp in your staging system ready is not all that hard. Do a jabber ping saying "Guys, lots of shiny carebear KMs with billions in loot to be had right infront of our station" and you literally have 150 people ready within 2 minutes with 8 minutes to spare for everyone to get on the gate and wait for the shiny loot pinata to arrive.

Granted, sending your event fleet
a) into an active powerblock warzone through a major thoroughfare
which
b) is the staging system of one of the major powerblocks involved in that war
is a bit dumb by the CCP event team, but there were no tip-offs or similar involved really.

Basically we got lucky CCP ****** up by sending you guys right onto our front porch.

You got a warning when you jumped the low-sec gate, telling you that you was entering a "dangerous" area, and you jumped.

Ackbar in yet?

This might have been the first ever PVP live event.

Of course with results like these, it'll probably be the last.

Its almost like the theme for the upcoming expansion states that capusleers are giving the middle finger to the main space empires. Not forshadowing what was going to happen at all here people.

AT ALL.

Taking a live events fleet through the second most famous null entrance system for being constantly camped in the game (just behind HED-GP) into a region that is currently being used as a base for PL, Goons, and Razor not to mention all the nasty locals because :CCP:. LOL

I was reading about the event on the forums from work, because CCP never schedules them in US tz or on the weekends, and then I got to "then we jumped into Doril..." and nearly burst out laughing. Do any of the live events staff actually play Eve?

Oh I think they knew exactly what they were doing.

This is how you deal with Incursion inflation. When you farm incursions 24/7 it inflates the economy. fastest way to get the inflation down is to destroy ships. Mission accomplished.

Exactly,

This was a excellently executed operation by CCP to get billions of isk out of circulation prior to the expansion. Problem is they have F'd over half of H.S to do it and those i high sec know it! I hate to think how many subs they will lose.

Exactly 0 isk was removed from the economy by this you colossal dumbshits.

Worse than that, isk was actually injected into the economy through insurance payouts Big smile

those who believe there are two types of EVE player and those who do not.

The role playing CCP character did warn everyone in local about the camps and advised not to go through if you were worried about them.

I was in a fleet of around 150 and the vast majority of us made it past the camps.

Marry my character? Anyone who can fit Beaker into a thread and makes it work, deserves her hand in marriage.

No, she won't put out. That'd be weird. Very, very weird.
