Lol

Since we have dual character training and such, mind if we add plex for 2 skills to be trained at the same time? Bear

Why dont you sell that plex and buy a character with the skills you want/need.

I think we've already concluded many years ago that the skills we have do not apply to the "Winning" equation. Blink

It's still pay-to-skip-game-mechanics, which amounts to the same thing.

So no.

Isn't plex for dual account training and purchasing characters under that subjection as well?

SP should never be purchasable. Paying to train two skills at once is tantamount to purchasing SP.
That kind of thing exists in pay2win games like Travian and pretty much any of the KixEye browser games, and it's total drek.

You're not a bad person.... you just made a bad thread. It's okay, man.... you'll recover.

No.
You're not skipping any mechanics in those cases. You're training characters the same way as everyone else.

I was wondering when we were going to have another "Can I pay for SP" thread.

Purchasing a character is purchasing SP, as well as plex for dual account training.

indeed you are skipping mechanics in purchasing a character, you're directly purchasing a character you have not trained up yourself. And in the case of dual character training, yes you are training a separate character, however you are still receiving twice the amount of sp in the same amount of time.

It still trains at the same rate as everyone else.

…which means there's no reason to add it.

Highly unlikely, since CCP know full well that paying to skip game mechanics is a hideously bad idea.

NFain wrote:

No. Both are just training a character as normal — you are not buying any SP. You could empty out the entire bazaar and you'd still have zero more SP on your character than you had before.

No. Nothing is skipped at all, which is why it works. Same with dual training: you are not skipping anything — you are getting the same SP as everyone else who's training a character.

a) However you are ahold of a character you should technically not be in with way more SP

b) I still definitely do not see the difference in that statement between what I am requesting.

Are you ********? YOU haven't trained the character but someone else has taken the time to do it so you are NOT skipping a mechanic. ******* hell.

Calm, keep the discussion civil please.

YOU, personally, as a player, are skipping a game mechanic by PURCHASING someone else's high SP character that YOU, personally, as a player would not have had.

It's not exactly the same as a 2x SP microtransaction bonus. You're just buying a character who already has some skills trained, while you have no control over the appearance, name or history of that character.

Just because you've trained skills on one character, it doesn't mean both characters can use them.

…and in doing so, no mechanics are being skipped — all characters are trained the same.
