Tengu ECM bonus

The Tengu has the same kind of bonus to ECM target jammers as the Scorp has. 10/15% bonus to ECM target jammer strength per level. They both have bonus to ECM range and the scorp even has a bonus to ECM burst. Nothing weird here.

However, when playing around in EFT the Scorpion undoubtedly gets its ECM Target jammer bonus applied to the ECM burst while the Tengu does not.

What I'm wondering here is, does the tengu get it's bonus applied to ECM burst as well? Something is definitely wrong in EFT, because the bonuses are the same.

Also, while I'm not really a fan of the RNG ECM, I think the Tengu's ECM should be on par with the Scorpion's.

Why should a T3 cruiser, "jack of all trades", equal the scorpion, a dedicated E-war Battleship, in it's main task?

EFT has a lot of things related to ECM Bursts wrong. But in this case, a quick look at the ECM Burst description helps: "Given the unstable nature of the bursts and the amount of internal shielding needed to ensure they do not affect their own point of origin, only battleship-class vessels can use this module to its fullest extent."

Meaning that only ECM bonuses apply to ECM Bursts only when fitted to battleships.

If CCP would hold the same opinion as you then suddenly T3s would be outperformed by every T1 ship, because they're "dedicated" to roles. I never proposed to make the Tengu equal to falcon/widow, which truly are the specialized ships. The Scorp is simply the root, as is the blackbird

Well that certainly was enlighting. Nice to see that there are details like these in Eve. Thank you.
