this would cross the border into microtransaction/p2w territory real fast..

You don't need to buy the CE. I have the extra funds to buy it another player may not. I should not have bubble immunity because of that.

Why, you will not lose the genolution auroral implant when podded so there is no point.

As one who has the box set, personally, I'd LOVE to have my pod immune to bubbles.

That said, I still vote 'NO', because my risk needs to be the same as everyone else's. Just because I can afford to buy something outside the game shouldn't give me a real advantage inside the game. Special Edition versions of a standard hull give no advantage, a shiny Golden Pod confers no special capabilities, and I'm seriously going to enjoy having the cool Rifter USB hub on my desk.

Won't mean one tiny bit when I'm called primary, though.

it would mean that technically you've paid ccp for an upgrade that means you can use ridiculous implants with practically no shortcomings.

as pods can instawarp from standstill it would mean u can load ur clone with the highest grade implants you can find and be happy in the thought that you're almost certainly not going to be pod killed. elevating every one of your ships stats pretty rediculously

this proposal is basically a "pay to win" proposal for almost every level of gameplay.

While this would be of great benefit to me (golden shiny pod have I) I have to say no as the mechanic for obtaining it does border on pay 2 win.

Though, I am sure CCP could do this as an incentive to sell more Decade packages.

Now, if they dropped a rare implant into Ghost sites that would do this...


edit: yeah, that music would be funny to have played in local. Hmm... makes me wish Descent 3's audio taunts were still around in other games.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

Support better localization for the Japanese Community.
